We used them on a lake. They work great. I'm 190 lbs and I paddled with my 7 year old daughter in front of me. We were snug, but it worked. My wife paddled with my 10 year old son w/ no problem.

Great Kayak for our family of 4 and a dog- We got two and they have enough room for an adult and kid in each and space for our dog plus space for our bags and cooler. Took Kayaks to the lake today and had a blast with the family- nice and easy to paddle down the lake. Light to place on top of my Xterra SUV and thanks to the pre-set holes- I can tie-down the Kayaks to my rack without no issues. Price was at $178- Great price for a Kayak with back rest and paddle.

I have 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. Simple and fun entertainment. Easy to transport. Light in weight. We have had more fun as a family the last 2 summers than many before. It had brought family and friends together to enjoy a great day at the lake in the sun. They are durable and built tough. They have been dropped and dragged with no damage. I found that they were nice kayaks for paddling around the lake but their flat bottoms were a little hard to control and slow for serious use. I liked them, but they were especially difficult to use in the ocean. Where it was calm they were nice.

I bought this kayaks on a whim. And I'm thankful I did because it has provided a tremendous sense of peace in my life. I now have 3 of these kayaks to share the experience with family and friends. These kayaks are easy to lift to get in and out of the water. They fit perfectly inside my vehicle and are sturdy and glide perfectly in the water. I have taken my kayaks through ponds, rivers, and intercoastal waterways. And have seen bald eagles, dolphins and rainbows. I will never buy another brand of kayak ever. Thank you Lifetime for a LIFETIME of memories .

The size is perfect to fit INSIDE my little Honda Fit (with the back seats and front passenger seat all down). And it is light enough for me to get it in and out easily. This is going to make it very easy to do a little kayaking after work once the weather warms up a little.
