This is delicious! I broke it down into steaks, stew meat and then made broth with the scrap. I have no problem with the quality of the meat, it really is very good. However, I ended up with a package of nearly 11 pounds, which then put the price over $80, rather than what I assumed was the "top" price of about $54, based on the price per pound, as advertised. So that was somewhat of a negative surprise. The second negative issue was that my package contained over 3 pounds of fat, at $7.98/#, which is not a great deal. Overall, I was pleased with the quality of the meat and the different ways in which I can use it.

We cut most of the sirloin into steaks but reserved some for tacos. Usually we use Sam's delicious chuck roast, brisket, or Sam's flap steak. We held out little hope that the tacos would be tender and flavorful, but they turned out to be the best ever. Super tender (and we're talking sirloin, generally a marginally tender cut) and richly flavored: everyone asked for extra servings, including a relative who usually eats two tacos. This time she ate five. We grilled one steak as a test, and it was superior to any sirloin that we have eaten. Sam's prime ribeye steaks are wonderful and the New Yorks are great. But consider leaving some room in the refrigerator for this equally sensational cut.

This is not a whole top butt sirloin as advertised. About half has already been trimmed.

I ordered this online for pickup and what I received was not the "butt" according to information I am seeing online. The "coulotte" portion seemed to already have been removed. What I received was still good and I was able to cut it into some nice steaks, but I was expecting the full butt portion which I did not receive.

It's a nice cut of meat. But it weighed almost a full pound less than it said on the pack- and another 1/2 pound was fluid. (It looked & felt off when I looked at it, but it had been delivered with no return option.)

Fair price but short coded experation date. Meat and blood had a foul odor

So disappointed in this meat! Advertised as Prime and this is not true. I should've listened to the person that said it was a connective tissue ridden piece of meat. Not good and definitely not a Prime cut.

Fatty, connective tissue-ridden hunk of trash. This was not even a choice cut. At this price and grade, there should be more meat, with great marbling. There is almost no meat! Do not buy! SamsClub lies about their their cuts!
