Customer reviews for BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 - LT285/70R17/E 126S Tire forExciting new product with lettering too!
I am pleased with the traction of the KO2 . The increased speed rating to S and the white lettering have me excited. The increased side wall strength should also make the tire appear much less soft of its pressure. I look forward to a new pair of KO3 for my 2013 Raptor with the white lettering! I treat my ride well, and the tires have been strong for all weather tractions.
Supposed to be better than the KO2, not sure I would agree.
Recently purchased these tires for my 2024 Toyota 4Runner. I have owned 4 sets of the KO2's in the past and raved about them to everyone. I was super excited to get a set of these as after reading the improvements that BFGoodrich had made to the tire, I didn't know how they could possibly make it any better than the KO2. Well it turns out, they really didn't. Currently this tire has right at about 2000 miles on it, I do not drive this vehicle daily as I have another vehicle to drive. These tires are loud enough on pavement, that it has me questioning if I have a bad wheel bearing or something going on in my front differential. It's really bad, and the drone I hear when driving has now gotten me to the point where I can't unhear it. I absolutely love how these tires look, and they do well enough in snow, I don't really off road the vehicle currently as I live in Colorado and the trails out here really require most of the time a lifted vehicle with larger tires. Currently stock, as the vehicle itself only has 2500 miles on it. I will be going to my local tire shop where I purchased the tires to try and exchange them. Disappointed as I have owned so many brands and types of tires over the years, and I work in the automotive industry, so I have a lot of experience with this stuff, but I can't overlook the noise. Also they have been balanced multiple times and still get a vibration at highway speeds. I think BFGoodrich should have kept the tire the way it was with the KO2. That tire was fantastic. Outside of how this tire looks on a stock 4Runner, which is sick, and the performance in the snow, I can't get behind it. Also in 265/70R17, the tire is 54.9 lbs, and the previous tire I had, a 285/70R17, both LT and both load range E, the larger tire only weighed 51 lbs. Smaller tire weighs more but is supposed to be quieter and wear better? Seems strange to me. Also tires are not cupping or low on air pressure. Just don't know what they actually changed that made this tire worse.

These tires are very nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My truck was in need of new tires in order to prepare for the winter season. These tires have amazing treads and feel like they will hold up if we get ice and snow. It was also easy to find a location close to me to replace my old tires and the gift card helped with covering the costs. This was an amazing experience and I am looking forward to seeing how the tires will last over the next few months.
Should've kept my K02's.....
As a happy, loyal K02 customer for 10+ years, I am absolutely sick that I "upgraded" to the new K03's this past December. To begin with, the traction is nothing compared to the K02's. Even when my past sets of K02's were on their last leg, the traction was preeminent compared to the K03's brand new! I was (and am still) shocked by the awful squeal that they let out simply going around corners and accelerating from a stoplight in the slightest drizzle of ran in the middle of town where speed limits max at 40mph. As a Minnesota resident, I buy BFG K's for their reliability during the coldest months of the year and their ability to get through the snow and ice with absolute certainty. Sadly these K03's can't even manage to get traction after the roads are even slightly wet. What a joke. I was already sick about the fact that I gave my K02's up for these K03's, then all of the sudden, one of my four brand new tires managed to pick up a huge allen wrench (which isn't even sharp) and allowed it to penetrate into the tread over 2". The fact that this happened within just a few months is extraordinary considering all of the things I've "picked up" over the years that were actually sharp, and never lodged themselves in to any of my K02's like this wimpy little allen wrench did. I wish I would've stuck with the K02's and never made the switch, but I honestly trusted BFG and their brand. Lesson learned I guess. Just a bummer to see the degression in quality. I miss my K02's and their endless reliability. These will never compare.

Perfect in all but One Way!
These tires have proven to be worth their premium price-tag, mostly! They are comfortable and quiet on-road (a big selling point after running some noisy AT tires from a competitor), and extremely capable off-road! My ONE gripe with the KO3 is that they are only offered as an E-rated tire for 16" wheels, the standard wheel size of most Tacomas. Despite using my truck regularly for moderate off-roading, I feel like the E-rating is overkill for a midsize truck like the Tacoma. This is a HEAVY tire with a stiffer sidewall that significantly impacts the trucks every day drivability. At 50lbs per tire, the truck feels more sluggish and its already not-so-greatly gas mileage has gotten worse. Surely I am not the only one who wishes a lighter, C-rated tire was available in our 265/70 and 265/75 16" sizes!
Amazing product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I continued to use BFGoodrich again to replace 4 old tires of the BFGoodrich brand this time. Choosing with model New KO3 for my chervolet pickup truck. Feel it moves easily in winter weather. High wheels make me feel like I have a really stylish car. The special thing I love about BF Goodrich is that the product quality is very good for people like me who travel a lot for a long time. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
Perfect for my SUV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires in size LT265/70R17 LRE for my SUV, and I couldn’t be happier with their performance. These tires have truly exceeded my expectations both on and off the road. The fitment was perfect for my car, and installation was smooth and hassle-free. They fit snugly without any need for adjustments, which was a big relief. The traction on various surfaces is outstanding, whether I'm driving on pavement, gravel, or muddy trails. The grip is reliable, providing a sense of security even in wet conditions. I've noticed a significant improvement in handling and stability compared to my previous tires. What impressed me the most is the durability of these tires. After several long trips and some rugged off-roading, they show minimal wear. They seem built to withstand the toughest conditions, which is exactly what I need for my adventures. Another bonus is that these tires are surprisingly quiet for all-terrain models. I expected a lot more road noise, but they are quite smooth and comfortable during highway drives. Overall, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires are a fantastic investment. They offer excellent performance, durability, a comfortable ride, and perfect fitment. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable all-terrain tires.
KO3 is a right choice
Bought as oem replacement for 21 Chevrolet LT Trailboss. I was considering a few different brands but kept coming back to the KO3. I only have about 100 miles on them but I’m happy with the choice. I did move from load range c to E so psi is higher of course.
Great bang for your buck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving these tires, they look great and are very aggressive. Once put on the vehicle they definitely add an off-road look and I think this would look great on most any truck/SUV. My experience with tires of this style in the past show that the performance in rain/snow can be a bit less than optiminal. I did not find these to be too different in that regard (just rain, we have not gotten snow in my area yet this year). While they did have some grip, I did find myself avoiding harder stops because it didn't feel super solid to me. Will I continue to drive on them in the different elements? Absolutely. Thanks for letting me review these tires in exchange for my honest review, BF Goodrich!
Smooth drive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these tires for free from influenster and Goodrich for free for my honest review. These tires were put on a tacoma truck. They went on the truck easily. The truck drives very smoothly. We have zero complaints. We will consider this brand in the future.
