I recently bought a set of pilot sport AS 3 and had them installed on my heavily modified eclipse turbo. They performed beyond my expectation, especially for an all season tire. The grip in extreme conditions is amazing, are very quite and resist hydroplaning very well. Who would have imagined your brakes work better with a tire selection, wow! You can drive with confidence and feel sure footed with these tires. An Ultrahigh performance tire with manners and a great warranty as a bonus.

i bought these tires for for my 04 mitsubishi , and these tires brought new life in my car , the car has better handling in dry or wet weather , the braking is so much better then any tire i've bought. and is so much more quite then the last pair of tires i had .

I am pleased with the performance of the tires. They are about average, if I compare to Vredestein Q-trac all-season (lasted 35K miles) and to Finnish WR-G2 all-season (lasted 38K miles) tires. Both of the above had better traction, wet and dry. However, major disappointment is the tire wear. I replaced the front struts and other front suspension parts before purchasing Michelins. Plus, did 4-wheel alignment. I did rotate them every 4-8K miles. The tires were gone at about 19,000 miles. No performance, bad in wet weather, no traction, other issues. The tire dealership did not recommend the last rotation, b/c they did not want to put the bad set on the rear (to keep still decent set on the rare further). But the tires were flat and loud and done at 19K miles. I do 80/20 highway/town driving. The tires were used from OCT-MAY period (before the Summer season started). Thus, I am disappointed in tire wear mostly, considering 45K miles warranty. Do not buy and avoid for wear problem.

I bought these tires for my daily driver (2008 Subaru WRX). They work great for my needs. The Pilot A/S 3's are a great mix; they handle like a sport tire, but are higly durable. I've used these tires in rain/snow and they provide great traction. I have not had any problems thus far and really like the tire. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great all season tire.

I BOUGHT MY FIRST MICHELIN TIRE FOR MY CADILLAC IN 1985 AND HAVE BEEN BUYING THEM SINCE THEN FOR ALL MY VEHICLES. EVEN WHEN I PURCHASE A NEW CAR, I CAN'T WAIT TO WEAR THE ORIGINAL TIRES OUT SO I CAN REPLACE THEM WITH MICHELINS. THE MICHELINS ARE SO MUCH SMOOTHER, QUITER, AND BETTER TRACTION IN WET WEATHER. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO TO MAKE A GREAT TIRE EVEN GREATER.

I have run these tires on my mustang for 2 summers. Never abused with low km's. Tires are all nearly at the wear bars but even worse is that all 4 have a bad hop to them..so bad you can even see it on the balance machine. Steering wheel shakes like crazy on the highway. Never buying Michelin again.

Car 2013 Lexus GS350 RWD Bought the Pilot A/S 3's when the car had 41,300 miles, Just replaced them at 102,031 Miles. WOW...! I drive 55-60K miles/yr mostly on the interstate in the South and I'm not a hard driver, but from time to time I like to drop the hammer on the GS when I get on a windy country road or up in the Smokey Mountains. I've also do a little Autocrossing and the car is a hoot to drive hard. My gas mileage is right at 29 MPG with about 85% highway miles and I average 74 MPH on the interstate. I do hear a bit of road noise, but it's OK for a sports sedan, even a Lexus. I balance them regularly and align them if needed.

An update on my initial review. I had the chance today to take my 135i with the A/S 3's for an extended drive today. I drove a combination of highway, city and rural roads. I can not believe this is the same car. The ride and handling of the car is better than ever and appears to have further improved after getting a few miles on the tires. As I stated earlier, the car is now quiet and all the rattles and creaks that drove me nuts are now gone. My only regret is that this tire was not available when I first purchased the car and that I put up with the run-flats for two years.

Living in an area with some winter weather (snow and ice) I prefer an A/S tire vs a maximum performance tire. As usual, Michelin did not let me down. While I don't track the car I do drive fast. I recently was timed at 152 mph and the car felt stable and responsive. There was more speed left but I chickened out. Tires always felt stable, were reasonably quiet, and wear better than expected. Driving a 500 HP AMG, I expected to get about 10,000 miles out of the rears. I am now at 10,000 miles and I SAFELY have 5-10,000 miles left on them.

Good performance but very poor wear. Rotated and maintained. No unusual driving. Warranted for 45k miles and lasted only 13k miles. I bought these specifically for the longer wear so I am quite disappointed. Reading other similar customer experience, this seems like a defective product. Did not expect this from Michelin. I will be seeking warranty replacement and hopefully Michelin will stand behind their product.
