80000+ miles

Always been a fan of Michelin tires and my past set has kept my faith. I do a lot of driving, highway and county roads. This last set of LTX M/S got me 84000 miles. Only reason I needed to replace is I had a bearing go bad and the passenger side wore on the outside too far before I caught it. Still probably had another 10000-15000 miles in them except for that. Great tires. Continue to be a fan. Hope the LTX M/S2s are just as reliable.

Best tires I have purchased

I purchased five new Michelin LT tires for my Tahoe. I frequently pull a 6000 lb travel trailer from Phoenix to Oregon and Washington state. I feel very confident in these tires due to Michelin's reputation but also the excellent warranty and road assist program they offer. I have had other brands in the past on this and previous trucks. The Michelin tires are definitely out performing the other brands. I have had no problems with these tires. I care for them as suggested with regular pressure checks and rotation. Based upon the mileage I have put on them and the tread wear so far, I anticipate getting at least the guaranteed miles on these tires. I run the tire pressure at 50psi which helps with the towing control and fuel economy but the do ride a little rough t this pressure. A small compromise. I am completely satisfied and will purchase Michelins again.

It's good to be back on Michelins

I recently replaced the front tires on my '03 Silverado pickup, trading a set of used-up Stampede light truck tires for Michelin LTX M/S2. I instantly noticed two things: much quieter on the highway, and the handling feel was markedly better. I have been a fan on Michelin tires for years now; this experience matches every other time I have traded up from some other brand to a set of top-quality Michelins. Always quieter, always handle better, and wear like iron. My next purchase: the other two tires, so that I am riding on Michelins all the way around. Michelins may be a little more expensive up front, but the payoff comes when you are passing the 60,000 or 70,000 mile mark and the tires are still performing just like they did when you bought them. I can hardly wait!

unbelievable

My chevrolet 2500HD came with 245 75 r16 I replaced them with ltx ms2 235 85 r16. I could not be more pleased. I get on I-5 at hiway 269 going north set the cruise at 70 (the speed limit) and for the next 200 miles it is as smooth as glass the only thing I feel is missing chunks of asphalt. I gained better than 10% in mileage because of a narrower tire (less friction) and a larger diameter tire (fewer revolutions per mile). my truck is heavy I have a utility box with rack on it and tools.

106,000 miles...................

I had 106,000 miles on these puppies when I traded in the 2004 F150. Probably could have made it through the summer too and gotten another 10,000. Could barely get 50,000 out of OEM Tires. Went through two sets of OEM's before switching to Michelin and will do it again the second the new tires wear out on the new F150. Best Tire I ever purchased, Hands Down !!!

Great Tires

I bought these in January after doing a lot of comparisons. The LTX M/S2 got very good reviews all over the net. I was able to use them a couple of times in the snow and they preformed very well. I have not tried them on ice yet. They ride very smooth and are very quiet. I give them a 10 out of 10. Some people complain about the price, I say you get what you pay for.

Great off road and Excellent Wet cond.

All tires are pretty good and handling wet road conditions the first year but the LTX M/S (2) stay that way year after year. They are great in snow and evey handle off road conditions very well. On top of that they offer a comfortable and quiet ride down the road. They are the best out there.

This is for the LTX 10 PLY JUST REPLACeD

These LTX m/s 10ply tires are on my F150, and travel 99% on paved roads, in all weather. They are run at 70#psi and just passed 78,000 miles, with enough tread left to go safely for another 20,000 miles. I believe they are partially responsible for my better than 19 mpg at highway speeds. At about 50,000 miles they got noticeably louder, but it was still a very quiet ride. In moderate rain at highway speeds, they occasionally feel as though they are hydroplaning somewhat-never a good sensation. I've already bought the exact same ones as replacements in the next 10-20,000 miles

Best Tire you can get for a SUV

Smooth ride, Quite ride with no road noise, Handles great in snow and ice. Stops and handles great in heavy rain. Great looking tire. Overall the LTX M/S 2 can't be beat. This is my 3 set of them on my SUV's over the years. Once you drive on a set of these tires you will never be happy with any other tire.

Best tire I have ever had on a truck!

I have always drove 3/4 an 1 ton trucks. I have had all kinds of name brand tires on them. Michelin Tire have give me more bang for my buck. Will not have any other brand on my truck.I have said that my times an I bought a new 1 ton dually in 2008 without Michelins on it (did have time for dealership to change them) an I got 15000 miles out of the tires on the back an they were racing slicks when I bought 6 new Michelins> I now have 65000 miles on my truck 50000 om my Michelins an they are about 1/2 wore. That says it for me.
