Fantastic preformance

Having towed the same heavy trailer for 480K miles, these are the best preformance tires for mileage, road/ride issues, and traction. Higher speed interstate driving, with sometimes more weight that is advised... This is the only tire manufacture that hangs together until the tread is gone. Oh, not quite correct, the OEM tires had no issues, but only lasted less than 30K miles. Negatives... These may cost more up front by a $10 ro $20 bill but when they last twice as long cost per mile is far less that what ever comes close. I've gone through other mfg's and one I had 14 tires replaced under road hazard, #14 did $3000 body damage to the box of the truck. They all went, replaced with LTX MS and never looked back. The big chain that was road hazarding the lesser brand asked me if I ever had Michelin, and if I had issues them. Yes I had them and never had a problem with them for roughly 70K miles. The guys comment was Michelin has very few ride issues and only build "best" tires, not good, better, and best. These LTX MS2 are not like the factory original "A/" series tires that folks around here do not like due to lack of traction. What I want for my winter selection is studable winter tires. When Michelin comes out with those I have a set of 4. When will they be out??

Great tire - great value

I made it to 40,000 miles on the original tires on my Ford F-150, with tires that normally don't go nearly that far. The key was proper balance, air pressure, and rotation (every 5,000 miles). Even though I nearly doubled the average miles on those tires, I knew the tire that would replace the originals would have to do better. I checked some on-line blogs and Consumer Reports. Everything seemed to point to Michelin. I have been a Michelin customer for years, so this was not a hard sell for me. I bought the Michelin LTX M/S2 tires at the end of December, so I'm going on about 9 months of testing. So far, I would absolutely buy them again. They're rugged and ride well and they have the best balance (in my opinion) of roll resistance and rubber compound. Stopping distances are not longer than with the original equipment tires and they take bumps very well. I was concerned about tread life vs. traction, but again, the balance of the mileage expectation and the ability to stop and make it confidently through a curve have not been compromised. Since no tire is impervious to road hazards, I purchased the hazard insurance. The feeling of security with this tire makes me confident in putting my family in this truck knowing I've done all I can to make it as safe as possible. I recommend this brand as well as this particular tire, and I will very likely purchase more in the future. Oh, did I mention my average MPG has gone up two tenths? That may not sound like a lot, but over the life of the vehicle, it adds up. Since I check the mileage with every gas purchase to ensure everything's working as it should, I can tell you, the numbers are accurate.

Horrible tire

Bought the truck new with these tires on them and I have got 29,000 miles on truck and the tires are wore out. The dealership is saying that you don’t get a warranty out of the factory tires so why do they tell you that they have a 60,000 mile warranty

We understand the LTX M/S2 tires on your truck did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Very Happy After 500 miles

Went on road trip from Long Island to Massachusetts. Tires performed as I hoped they would. Quiet, held road well at high speed and on curves. Good on unpaved road also. I think they will do well this winter on snow based on the look of the treads. Haven't driven in rain yet since it seems it never rains anymore on Long Island but I think they will do well in rain. So far very happy with my purchase.

Lasts and lasts...

I'm now on my 2nd set on my 2002 GMC Yukon XL Denali. I know this isn't recommended, but I put almost 80,000 miles on the 1st set of these tires and NEVER ROTATED THEM ONCE! They wore evenly throughout the entire 80k miles with only very slight additional wear on the front. This is a testament to how great these tires are. I am sold on Michelin for life!

They areon a winnabago view. They are the best tires I ha e ever owned. They are very comfortable. I am not sure if I have the. Correct. Model number. They ha e exceeded both my expectation and the warranty. I will consider your tires for any vehicle , provided the manufacturer recommends your tires. I ALMOST NEVER GIVE a good report. Most products do not me my standards.

Love my Michelins

Best tires made. Oem tires lasted 60k. 2nd set (1st michelins) lasted 80k. Hope this set is as good as last set. Very pleased with the ride, handling and wear of all the Michelins I have owned. Full recommendation: They are well worth the small amount extra over a cheaper brand!

I purchased these tires 1 ...

I purchased these tires 1 year ago and have put 30,000+ miles on them. They look brand new, very even treadwear. These tires are fantastic in the rain with great stopping power and road handling. They also are extremely smooth and exceptionally quite with great rolling ability. Michelin definitely has a winner with this tire!

Excellent handling and wear

I drive on curvy roads in East Tennessee as well as cross-country on the interstate to visit family. The traction in water and off-road has been a vast improvement to my 4x2 pickup and the handling has been solid without being noisy or uncomfortable. These tires provide a much more confident ride, and promise to last for years to come.

Ride Safe Ride Smooth

I am driving my third Ford F-150 pick up which I love. The original equipment tire, P/S not so much. My 2011 truck had about 10,000 miles of tread left on them when I decided I could not take the bouncy ride any longer. I went in and purchased a set of LTX M/S2 tires and the installer asked me if I was nuts. your tires are still new! I told him to keep em if you want to I've had it with them. The new LTX are firm like a sports car and finally- SMOOOOTH..Thanks to Michelin for stayin true to quality through the years and years.
