Outstanding Performance.

I use these tires on my Nissan Pathfinder 4 wheel drive in Flagstaff, Arizona where we have snow and ice from November to April. These tires have amazing traction in snow and ice. Combined with the 4 wheel drive the tires have maintained traction throughout all of our weather conditions. I have no reservations about driving in any of the weather conditions we have. These tires are also the smoothest rolling and smoothest riding tires I have ever owned. There is no perceivable road noise and no vibration. As long as these tires are available I will never buy any other tire. I have owned these tires for almost 4 years and almost 50k miles and there is more than 90 percent of the tread left. The tires still have the original installation balancing weights and I have never had to add any air to them. Pretty amazing tires.

Michelin Tires are the Best!!

Whenever I can afford, or need, to get the best tires. I've always purchased Michelin. They last FOR EVER!! And they give you the best ride and traction you ever need. I have NEVER been disappointed with a Michelin tire. One time I had a blow out on one of my tires. Michelin made it right. I think that Michelins are the Best tires you can get for your money.

As usual, nothing but the best.

Both of my vehicles have Michelin LTX series tires and we have experienced great tire wear and problem free driving. We have driven in all kinds of weather and have had no problems. As to these tires, I have only a few hundred miles on them but the previous set wore great and provided good mileage.

Tread wear so so !!

Truck was purchased new with this tire from dealership. Michelin stated 70,000 mile wear out … I had to change tire at 40,000 to pass state inspection. I keep my vehicle in top condition including the tire pressure and rotation. Michelin pro rated tires but said I should have gotten another 20,000. Lucky if I would have gotten 10,000. I have owned Michelin's on many of my cars and never had a tread problem … Bad batch maybe? I love the Ride and Handling the tire gives. Truck came with Michelin's so I'm keeping Michelin's bought 4 more.

Traction Lacking

Super quiet on pavement and great handling. But get them in mud or snow and it's a different story. Really disappointed in Michelin's claims about traction. Probably the worst snow traction I've ever experienced, especially in a premium tire. I run them on a 4x4 pickup and at times all wheels engaged is not enough to navigate some normal Seattle streets. Spent two hours last week digging out from some soft, wet ground they failed to drive thru. Swapping them out for a competitor's true M/S tire.

Good So Far

Replaced a set of LTX A/T's ~ 1600 Km ago. The A/T's had been a great tire, but were pretty beat up after a Canadian arctic trip and over 2000 Km of gravel. I elected to return to an LTX as I rarely need the A/T benefit & saw a ~5% fuel economy hit with the A/T's. So far usage has been about 50/50 gravel/paved Hwy. On the Hwy they are good w/ low noise, better gas mileage than the A/T's, good response & track well in heavy rain. On the gravel (logging roads in BC) they are also good & manage areas where the surface is soft well. The only mild complaint is they are more prone than the A/T's to trapping gravel in the treads

The BEST

This is my 3rd set on our family vehicles soon to be a 4th. I previously ran the LTX M/S the were the best light truck tire on the market. Now Michelin has stepped their game up with a softer riding longer lasting tire. I would say they have out done themselves but that is what you come to expect from Michelin. The BEST! Thanks

I Trust Them with my Family's Lives!

I have been driving on Michelin's for over 30 years and I had no doubt which tire I wanted for my SUV: Michelin's LTX M/S2. My last set of Michelin's lasted for over 80,000 miles and I finally changed them after 11 years bcz of aging. I have smooth, firm control on the road regardless of the conditions: dry, wet, or snow. Michelin's are the tires I trust with my family's lives as we drive around the country and whenever they need to borrow my SUV for side trips or road trips. Thanks Michelin for giving me peace of mind.

On our Buick Rendezvous ...

On our Buick Rendezvous the ride was very rough and too rigid on City Streets. Had a strong hot rubber smell when drove any distance in Summer months. Dealer talked me into going one size up from what came on car because specs indicated it was alright. Added to sway of car and rougher ride.

I replaced the stock ...

I replaced the stock tires on my 2006 Denali with LTX MS2 this summer. We tow a cargo trailer and this tire is amazing. Very little road noise, tremendous road feedback and handling..mpg increased as well. I would without hesitation recommend that everyone replace their tires with this one!!
