Great tire

These tires were recommenced by a friend. They wrok great on the Alaskan roads with snow and ice. They have good grip/traction and stop well. They now have approx 10,000 miles and show no signs of wear. I will be purchasing a set for my wife's truck next.

Buy New, Scrap Stock, Buy Michelin

In the last 8 years in Montana, I have purchased a new 4Runner Limited, new Tacoma (plus installed a new ARE topper) and most recently a new Tundra 1794 Edition (plus installed a new ARE topper). Each time, I removed the stock tires, installed LTX M/S 2 always at an aspect ratio 5 higher than stock. In all cases, the entire behavior of the vehicle improved. The center of gravity, road-worthiness, cornering, ride and Panther-like grasp of the road surface were so obviously improved, the dealership department heads became Michelin converts. They are now convinced tires make a big difference and know the M/S 2 upgrade made a worthy improvement. Many of the dealership personnel had previously not given serious thought to tire brand on new vehicles since other brands are typical on many new vehicles sold in the USA. I will not run another brand of tire on my vehicles. Period. Try them!

Amazing Tires!

I just purchased these tires to replace Michelin LTX M/S tires on our SUV. I still had tread left on the tires but I had to replace them because of their age. The set I replaced were 10 years old! Wow, what a tire. They are smooth riding and quiet. Can't recommend these tires high enough! Great tire!

Michelin is the Only Way to Ride!!!

We have used the LTX M/S for the last 7 years on our 02' F250 Ford Diesel. We have enjoyed this tire for many reasons: Longevity, Performance, Quality, Handling & Smooth Ride for a truck. This tire has been by far the BEST set of Tires that we have ever owned. I just had my new set of the LTX M/S2 installed today and look forward to them bringing us just as much of a peace of mind as the last two sets of the LTX M/S have. I trust that Michelin will continue to hold up to the high quality standard of tires as we have trusted them with in the years past. I plan to try to report back again after riding on these LTX M/S2 for a while to update my review on the Performance of these. Way to Perform Michelin & Expecting the Best!!! God Bless...

Best tires you can get

We are just now having to get new tires on our SUV. Our Michelin LTX tires have lasted so long, I don't even remember when we changed them last. I could probably get just a little more life out of them but the tread is getting too low for my comfort level and it is affecting fuel efficiency. But as soon as you put new Michelins on, you won't regret it, your cars' fuel efficiency and the performance of your car immediately improves, and they last for a VERY long time. We have been very happy with the life and performance of these tires, they are the only brand we will probably ever use.

I will always buy Michelin tires

I have just purchased my second set of Michelin tires for my 1995 GMC Sierra 1500. I got 103,000 miles and 4 years on my first set. Keep your pressure checked and I recommend you rotated them every 3,000 miles as I did and you might get the same mileage as I did. After seeing the life I got out of my first set I will always spend the extra money and never buy cheap tires again. I could go on and on bragging about them but the proof is in the pudding!

9TH Set of LTX Michelin tires!

Just purchased my 9th set of LTX M/S that should tell you if I like them! Since 1976 I have been driving on Michelin tires. The LTX has been on all my trucks usually replacing the OEM tires. I find these tires usually outlast whatever treadlife warranty they advertise. They make a difference over whatever the factory puts on a new vehicle sometimes a big difference! Had them on GM and Toyota trucks and they just plain work and last a long time. Great traction in snow, great ride and the noise level is lower than other brands. Never had a tire failure in all these years, a few punctures and one a piece of steel did in a side wall of one of them even it was a controllable failure, not the tires fault! When this set wears out I will buy set number 10! See you in about 80000 miles +/- or so.

Over 50 years with Michelin tires

I have been buying and using Michelin tires for over 50 years because I feel safe driving my vehicle at interstate highway speeds with Michelin tires. I have never had a problem with Michelin tires. The tires do not make noise when driving down the highway and I like that. My next set of tires will be Michelin.

Future auto/truck tires will be Michelin

My pickup truck came with some tires that exhibited very loud road noise. I purchased the Michelin tires to try to reduce the road noise. Not only are they very quiet, but they turned out to provide the most comfortable ride of any tire we have owned on any vehicle. The Michelins also slightly increased our gas mileage, and have a very long endurance life. They exhibit zero pressure leakage and require little balancing. We have decided that all our future auto/truck tires will be Michelins.

LTX M/S2 on 2006 F-150

Replaced original tires and couldn't be happier. I live in Central Florida which receives heavy rains in a short period of time. I got my first test on my way home after installation. I had no spinning of tires (oils on road), braking was excellent, steering was crisp and absolutely no feel of hydroplaning. I can't give any comments on long term usage, off-road or even fuel mileage since they've been on my truck less than 12 hours but Michelin got it right with this tire!
