Best tire I have ever owned

I put the set of LTX M/S2's on my 2010 Tundra and could not believe the change in the ride and handling of the truck. No road noise at all. If you want to improve the ride and handling of your truck invest in a set of M/S2's, you will be glad you did.

These tires are the next ...

These tires are the next best thing to the old LTX M/S's. Good wear and performance. I've only had these tires for 15,000 miles and so far, they look like the day I put them on. The tires are LT245/75-17 Load Range E on a 2008 Ford F250 with a service bed, so the truck weighs 8500lbs at all times of the day. The previous tires (non-michelin) only lasted 33,000 miles and were showing drastic signs of wear at 15,000 miles and were bald at replacement.

Long life and quiet

I've had these tires on my 3/4 ton truck (225/80-17) for over 60,000 miles. I'll need new set in the next month or so, so I'll probably have around the 70,000 (which matches their stated life span). I have been very happy and the only change I am going to make when getting a new set it so go bigger (taller/wider) for a better look. The 225/80's look pretty small/narrow on my 4x4. Obviously I'm happy with the make/model, as I will be buying them again.

LTX/MS2 Tires - disappointed

I bought a set of these for my SUV in the fall of 2014. They were good until they got 40,000 miles on them. Since then, the tire noise between 35-50 mph is quite loud. I thought I had a bad wheel bearing or drivetrain issue. An ASE mechanic checked it, along with the alignment, it was fine and said it's the tires. He showed me the irregular wear on the outside edges. You can feel the outer edges starting to protrude. I rotate the tires every other oil change and had 108,000 miles on my prior set of Michelin's with no issues.I noticed Michelin has a new technology - EverGrip. After reading about it, maybe this is causing the condition?

Excellent Tires

This is the second set of these tires that I have bought. These are the best tires on the road. The first lasted about 70,000 miles. I'm expecting the same on these. My first set was tires were the M/S and these are the M/S 2's. I believe my original M/S had a little better ride, but these are also good. The main problem is the sticker price. If you can get over that, they will save you money over the long haul.

Also disappointed

I bought a set of these tires about a year ago. They claimed this new series was far better than the previous generation. The tread wear is way over rated. I doubt this set will see the 60000 miles the previous set of LTX tires saw. Lost me as a customer.

I have driven on almost ...

I have driven on almost every major brand of tire. I purchased these tires for my 4 wheel drive pick-up. I wanted traction yet comfort on the road. I believe these are the best riding tires I have ever owned. Well worth the price and they want be the last Michelin Tires I ever buy.

Best truck tire made

I have had many heavy duty trucks (I am a building contractor ). Dooleys that work hard everyday, pulling heavy loads, pulling dump trailers and such. My last set of Michelin LTX-MS2 tires got over 75,000 miles, and never had any problems, when I buy a new truck I can't wait to get rid of the factory tires, they never go more then 15,000 miles. I own 6 vehicles and 5 of the 6 have Michelin tires, the 6th one will when the factory tires wear out!

Over 50 years with Michelin tires

I have been buying and using Michelin tires for over 50 years because I feel safe driving my vehicle at interstate highway speeds with Michelin tires. I have never had a problem with Michelin tires. The tires do not make noise when driving down the highway and I like that. My next set of tires will be Michelin.

Terrible Tread Life

I purchased these tires after much research looking for long tread life. I drive about 25,000 miles a year. I have 36,000 miles on them now and they are shot. 2 tires are down to the wear bars already and the other 2 are not far behind. Purchased these since they are rated for 70,000 miles. I will be lucky to get 40,000 out of them. Will not purchase again.
