If you can complain I believe one can, also give praise when it is due. We bought a custom round cake from Sam's for my mother-in-law's birthday, we had bought one a few years ago and if was OUT OF SIGHT! To my surprise the quality was still as good if not better than the 1st cake we had bought. I ordered the cake about a week before we needed it. The only problem with online ordering was I couldn't get what I wanted so I called in to the Bakery and spoke with a lady that was able to customize the cake to what we wanted. Which now I understand this is NOT possible as Sam's wants to be another tech store instead of giving the customer what the order says, "CUSTOM CAKE"! I tried to 2 days to tell someone at the Murfreesboro TN store how pleased we were with the cake but there was ONE NO at that store that could answer the phone. I called in to the Sam's Customer Service. I could not get passed the A1 intelligence, for every time I said Praise, good job etc. the system didn't know what I was speaking of. I then said COMPLAINT and the system knew right away what I was talking about. Really sad that the top-notch tech store still seems to be not so top notch!

Birthday cake design was the Balloons. Little did we know it had these "candy" balls on them. They are white, so they blend with the cake. They are super hard! If your teeth are already fragile well good luck. I had to try and scrape the sides off the cake off carefully and leave a little frosting, just to take those jawbreakers off. Otherwise the cake was good and made to order. I just wish they not use those gross teeth cracking sprinkles!

This cake was AWFUL!

This cake was just like their cupcakes, so flavorful and moist. The cake turned out perfectly even though I had a custom order. Many people at the party asked where the cake was from. We are so happy with this purchase.

I was nervous about the online ordering but the cake turned out beautiful and they were able to put all the words on the cake. I wish I could add a picture.

This cake was delicious and beautiful. Purchased online, so easy, nice selections, paid for it, easy pickup, cake was ready on time. Will purchase again.

The cake itself was good, but the icing had an odd texture. The texture was like they added sugar to the icing and didn't whip it after adding it. I was disappointed because the cake was delicious, and the icing was terrible.

Sad. They do not take orders over the phone anymore for their baked good. I found I am best served by going to a local bakery... which I did, in O'Fallon, IL

This cake is delicious and my Sam's Club did an excellent job writing on it. Very reasonably priced as well. Definitely will order again.

Cake was decorated correctly, but it split almost down the middle. First time this has happened. Sam's usually has exceptional cakes.
