Cakes are alway good

Decided against a character cake just cause i wanted the whipped chocolate icing which honestly was delicious. My problem was that I put the toppings with the sprinkles and i had to hand pick each quarter inch jaw breaker that they sprinkled everywhere. They were super hard sprinkles that could definitely crack teeth. Love the cake but just be warned. Don't add those sprinkles

I called the local Sam's Club bakery in my area (Bakersfield, CA) and was informed they do not take orders from walk-ins and that I would have to order on-line. I tried to do the on-line cake order 5 days in advance and the soonest option day for pick-up was not even available on the calendar. We ended up going to Albertson's because they can do a cake order with a minimum 3-day notice and I was able to go up to the bakery and order the cake.

Sam's Club Longmont has been our custom cake "go to" ever since the club opened!! The cakes were beautiful and delicious, and we were proud to serve them. Now that this club only accepts online cake orders, the choices or selections are very limited and unattractive combinations. Very disappointing because a fantastic bakery has now become totally undesirable. I would be embarrassed to serve a custom cake from the options that are offered. I visited the in store bakery to try to place an order and was told that they only accept online orders from the limited selections on the web site. Wish someone would reconsider this practice that is diminishing the bakery business.....

have ordered cakes every year for my daughter for her birthday. yalls are the best. this year, in trying to order online, it will not let me customize to my desire. so i make a trip to my local sams to order and pay in advance and am told they cannot take my order anymore. it all have to be done online. what if someone is not proficient with a computer or my mother or grandmother was trying to order a cake. nope, you just lost a long time bakery customer much to my daughter's disappointment. talked to bakery manager and said someone could help me with that. i was just there yesterday for that very purpose and bakery assistant said that she could not help me. it had to be done online. so very dissappointing !

Reading reviews, someone posted you can only order online not in store anymore. A Sams associate responded they were misinformed and you can order other ways but I went into Sams this last weekend to place my daughters cake order and was told the same thing, that I can only order online. Someone obviously needs to have a chat with the bakery department because I almost ordered elsewhere. I did not have a log in for Sams so I am thankful I was able to use my work account.

cake was delicious, but I ordered chocolate for my daughter and got vanilla.

I ordered a cake the day before I wanted it. It was ready for pickup and tasted amazing. The frosting looked great and the cake was moist. It was like cutting into butter when I cut the cake.

I ordered a 2 layer round chocolate cake with whipped frosting and what we got was a cake covered in tons of buttercream and sprinkles (did not order sprinkles nor did it show that it would come with it on the pic) so hard we thought we had a took cracked on the birthday guy (my husband). Huge disappointment!
