This Dyson Vacuum is much more helpful at keeping a habit of keeping a clean carpet compared with previous vacuum technologies. After a few uses, there were far fewer areas which caused a struggle physically, but far more precision, which helped not damage walls or sensitive areas too!! Cleaning this vacuum was more easy than cleaning some tools which do even less! Ok, there aren't any lasers exlempifying missed areas on this model, but the areas it succeeds in are very developed - that's not common when so much needs cleaning (cleaning microparticles using paper and water would takr years compartively). This models price tag felt well labeled, but anxiety of whether it will not last against tough conditions like some technologies (EV for example) starts and stops. Though it seems likely as well that this V10 model will last the few years (or so) until the next model that feels well placed to purchase releases. Lets see!

I am using 3 Dyson vacuums in my house. A V6 at the basement, V7 at the main floor and now the new V10 at the upper floor. The new V10 has been used for almost a month. It is the most powerful among the 3, and the battery lasts longer than the older models.

I Love this vacuum . I am retired ( close to 70 ) and cleaned houses for a living The vacuum head fits snug against the wall ,no dust line left to deal with! It goes under almost everything , book cases ,beds etc With the 3 settings it cleans small rugs . floors of all kinds ,and carpets The tools just snap on and off EASY There is a tool available for everything , a hose attachment , car , blinds etc It cleans better than my very heavy XR Vortex 3000 it empty's easy and hold s the dust in , just hold it over the garbage and press toggle a wee push and done . The brush head slides right out for cleaning the filter is washable and ready for use the next day it stores using very little space

It was bought last month because the previous generation unit of five plus years of usage was becoming unreliable. I am glad that I waited for the next generation. The suction power was stronger but the torque drive motor head was the big surprise. The V10 head had the power of a canister vacuum cleaner powerhead. The bin ejection was much easier with less mess. However, the trigger was activated when ejecting the bin at times. The only suggestion is to have a two finger trigger with safety lock. Otherwise, well done!

The cyclone V10's suction is not as strong as the Dyson stowaway, which we had for over 10 years, but does a good job as it is convenient, lightweight, and easy to use. I do enjoy the cordless aspect of it and the ease of emptying the bin. Our old Dyson lasted a long time, so I am hoping that this one will do the same.

I am rewriting my original review of the V 10 Animal. My first impressions of it after some use was that it seemed cheap and subject to poor battery performance. I also found it loud, the stick flimsy and the canister hard to empty. Now after a couple of years of use and getting use to the vacuum I give this machine a 4 out of 5 and the support team a 5 out of 5. Some of my complaints are still bugging me but with clean filters and power on medium, the vacuum is quieter and battery last for most of the house. It is very convenient leading to quick clean up. This vacuum really does suck:) I give it 4.5 out of 5.

Only had it now for a month but so far so good. Only negative is the power brush head is a bit small if you are using for a big house. There is an larger version you can upgrade to. And it's a little hard to release the long wand but I am hoping this gets easier with use.

I had a corded stick vac before and, after it was a few months old, it's suction was very limited even after washing the filter. This Dyson is excellent. Light weight and does a great job. My only complaint is that it should have a removable battery.

However, I find that it's not as easy to use overall as my v8. I don't like the fact that you have to unsnap the pole in order to empty the container. I also find that it isn't as easy to put it in or take it out of the charger. But it works just fine.

Hard to push powerhead on carpet on high No hardwood wide tool supplied. Powerhead kills battery quickly Can't seem to get stairs and 2 small area rugs done on one charge Not even close to central vac but handy when I find a hardwood tool opinion may change
