These are not supposed to be scented, but when I received them they smell like heavy laundry detergent. I should have called for a replacement. I have MS and am allergic to any scent. I've been getting items having scents when they're not supposed to lately, makes me not want to order online, but so much easier for me. I'll never buy these bags again. I bought them instead of Members Mark b/c they were on sale. Definitely not worth it for me. So disappointed about this.

I had to buy this brand because SAMs was out of their brand. I usually buy the Members Mark brand with the flaps and not the strings. Hefty tears very easily. Things that I never had to double bag with the other brand, I have to with Hefty. The bags are very thin and not thick. I hope Sams get their brand in stock by the time I get ready to order.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This review is on The Hefty Ultra Strong 33 Gallon Trash Bags (90 ct.), the box that came in the mail was rather large and quite heavy. I was quite surprised how large the bags are, I received them right before Thanksgiving and must admit they were amazing, as we only needed one trash bag for all the trash on Thanksgiving, when it usually takes four or five trash bags, minimum for all the throw away paper goods. The bag is incredibly strong and well made. Since they are enormous we actually used them for yard cleanup of leaves and sticks and they are so strong that the sticks did not even puncture through the bag. I would highly recommend these trash bags if you have a need for a large sturdy bag.

I have always sworn by the quality of Hefty bags. This last box has been HORRIBLE. I tried to empty my cat boxes and with 25# of used litter the bag started with a small hole that as I tried to turn over to stop the leak just continued to rip more and more. When I grabbed the top my fingers just went through it. This was just the latest issue, have had multiple liquid leaks as well. Heavy Duty my @$&.

OBVIOUSLY SCENTED. These are labeled "unscented," and every time someone in our house goes around getting the trash (not me, as these smell completely disgusting) I can very obviously smell them. I do not have allergies or chemical sensitivities or anything. I don't even think my nose is that sensitive. These trash bags very clearly have a scent and, whatever it is, it is NOT good. If I wanted a scented trash bag, I at least would choose a pleasant smell.

These trash bags are very thin. You can literally see through them. The trash bags tear when I use them. I have had several of them tear on me.

I usually buy the Sam's kitchen bags but these were on sale so I thought I'd try them. I have standard kitchen pull-out garbage cans and the bags are too short and wide. The plastic also sticks to itself making opening the bag more difficult. I came here to buy some Sam's bags because I'm tired of reaching into the cans to pull these bags out of the trash every time i throw something away. If you have short, squat cans or aren't using them in a kitchen can, they'll work.
