[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lawn was looking a bit sad. Low spots and patchy, looking like it had no life at all. All the other lawns in the neighborhood were looking much better and mine was standing out in a bad way. Picked up a bag of Green Max and within a few days my lawn was green and perfect. As good as or better than the neighbors.

Applied this in the morning. Thought I had swept pretty good, but came back to the house after a rainstorm and all heck had broken loose on my driveway. I am still trying to get the stains out. I will never use this product again for fear of missing 1 single pellet that will stain my driveway/walkway. It is not worth it and didn't really appear to enhance my lawn at all. This is 2015, there has to be something that doesn't ruin my 2 month old driveway out there. I agree with other commemtors, the warning for this product needs to be front & center.

Best of all I felt safe walking on it along with my small dog minutes after appling. Looking forward to seeing what a 2nd application will do in a couple of months.

In my case, I live in Illinois, the last time I used it, it took a couple weeks and a good rain to see the bald spots to start to fill in, actually, after the 3rd. time mowing, the grass was greener and thicker. This lawn food does a good job and is easy to use, if you want to have a beautiful yard this year, get this stuff from now.

Green MAX is the best lawn fertilizer I have ever used. My Bermuda lawn went from being thin and gray/green to a full, lush carpet of dark green. I admit I was skeptical at first, but it works! It takes a small amount so the bag lasts me an entire season for a 3000 sq ft lawn. Absolutely amazing. My HOA awarded me "yard of the month" for July!!

I tried this product and loved how well it greened up my lawn. One downfall is it will leave iron marks on sidewalks, so make sure to sweep up any that gets on concrete areas. This product was a complete success and worth a little extra money. I will be using Green Max in future applications.

I'm using this Scotts Green MAX lawn food as a booster for my St Augustine Lawn to help it quickly green-up. Usually, I like to use some cheap 10-10-10 in spring, but this year I decided to give this product a try, and it turned to be good.

Although I water my lawn regularly, my Midnight Kentucky Bluegrass started to show signs of stress (browning) during July and August. Within 7 days of applying Scotts GreenMax Lawn Food, nearly all signs of stress disappeared, and my lawn was restored to its normal, dark green appearance. Since applying this product, I have been able to maintain a lush green lawn, with less watering. Some reviewers have complained about rust stains appearing on concrete after using this product. The product label clearly warns of this possibility, and users should heed the warning. Any product that finds its way onto concrete must be carefully swept or blown into the grass before watering; otherwise, rust streaks will appear and remain on concrete for an extended period of time.
