I purchased the professional install service that Walmart offers. Mine was $98.00. I thought that was a great deal to pay a person to come put it together. Mostly if he agreed to that price. This guy was so sweet and did such a wonderful job. I wanted to tip him above the $98.00. I was being nosey and asked him how much he was paid for this job. $30.00!!!! 2-1/2 hours of manual labor for $30.00! We got to talking and the job he was assigned to before me took 6 hours the client paid over $750.00 and he received around $200.00. This made me so upset. I paid him $100.00 extra because that is what I agreed to pay HIM. But how many other people do these jobs and are barely surviving and we think we are paying them and it’s going into someone else’s pockets. So sad. How many customers know that only a quarter of the profit is given the person who did the work? He had no clue how much I paid which is even worse. Lying to these guys to turn a profit. This is wrong. This is very wrong.

as a consumer you think that every product you buy comes from same company you purchase it from, wrong you have a third party, for example who comes out assigned by a company choosen to hire people from all around you, that made me very uncomfortable.

The person messaged saying they were running late due to a flat tire. Then were supposed to be here at noon. Messaged at 1130 saying they were coming from West Plains, 1 hour away. It is almost 3pm and no one has show up, messaged, or replied to my messages. This feels like a scam.

The first handy pro was schedule for 12/12 and never showed up but in the app he closed out my booking as if he did and it asked for a review to which I obviously gave a 1 start and had to reach back out about getting rescheduled since you can't do it in the app without having to pay AGAIN. Waited another 3 days for the next available handy man only for him (he was great and helpful with what he could control - ontime, very friendly and explained the manufacturing issue with the couch) to discover a manufacturing error which has yet to been rectified. I was hesitant to purchase from walmart due to their poor reputation but loved the color of this couch. Will NEVER take that chance again. DO NOT do it.

Walmart uses Angie list, now Angie, as a service provider for assembly of products. This assembler person received an F. We had a storm here so I contacted him through Angie an hour before he was to arrive suggesting that he might want to reschedule and that I would understand that but please contact me and I gave my phone number. I heard nothing and he didn’t show. I would’ve given this just a zero or one rating for him, but I gave it a two because Angie did finally resolve it and supposedly refunded my money which I’m still waiting for. So I gave it a to however, the Angie site is not an easy one to get through their bot chats and initial supposed person tech person. I finally resorted to calling them on their phone number. And I got some action however it took me a total of an hour and a half. That’s not good service.

The person who came to put our couch together was ahead of schedule, extremely friendly, and was good conversation while I wrapped presents. Only problem is they did not assemble the couch correctly and I can see exactly where in the process he made a mistake. We briefly looked at the extra parts, but I was not going to question them as they seemed good at their job.

very efficent and helpful. They arrived before all items were there and upon assembly when the last package arrived they wanted to have the item returned as there was so much damage to the leather couch and wood. My son has no way to return and they recomended walmart order the part and they would fix.

After the 3rd or 4th time having to change my appt .They guaranteed it would get done on a Saturday at 9 am after.. . Then at 7:15 am they cancelled again and told me it would be 5 days later! I had huge boxes just stacked in my kitchen! 2 hours before it was supposed to be scheduled! Would not recommend ever!

This product is not worth the money. It’s picture is deceiving as it does not show that when unfolded yet are literally laying in the floor. That’s fine for a teen but I’m 68 and struggled to get up. Although I’m still paying on it I ended up giving it to my son as he set it up in my grandsons room.

My review is not a reflection of the service; it’s a reflection of the cancellation policy. The shipper delayed my delivery by 24hrs. The service cancellation time is also 24hrs. Because I did not find out my shipment was going to be delayed with Anji’s 24hr cancellation window, I ended up paying for installation services I did not receive. Next time, I won’t purchase installation services with my purchase. I’ll buy it separately from another provider.
