They are too long for my two drawer filing cabinet. Very disappointed in this purchase

I've used this product before and knew what I was getting into but first time buyers need to know that you *can't* "snap off" the rails to length like they advertize. You have to cut them off with a hack saw or power saw. If you aren't coordinated (like me) it will take you a bit to hold the rails inplace and screw down the tension screws. Sometimes those don't like to turn. My husband had less trouble than me and I turned it over to him when I couldn't tighten them enough. Please know I also have arthritus in my hands so that probably made it harder for me.

The steel frame had perforated tabs you could bend and break off to reduce the length of the rods. However, my cabinet needed the rods to be even shorter around 22" while the last tab was at 24". So I had to saw them by hand and file them down. It would have been better if they would have had more tabs back to about 20" or so.

East to assemble. Instructions should have said to use plyers to break to size.

I only needed one side rail and I cut it in two pieces the length I needed and the rest I don't need but it was cheaper to buy the set this way
