The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put it together myself with simple, readily available tools. I love that this is a legitimate, professional looking goal perfectly scaled for up and coming ballers. Check out my picture of this youth goal next to a full size goal installed in a gym! Based on the quality of the components, I think this goal will be around for quite a long time.

We used the app with the video instructions and it was so easy. We needed two people for attaching the backboard and rim to the stand. Filling the base was quick and added that extra stability. I love that it has wheels to easily move around. My favorite part is that it will grow with my kids with the ease of the adjustable knob!

Best starter hoop for kids! And it looks like a normal hoop, not a dinky plastic kids toy. My six year old always gets frustrated when we go anywhere with a hoop because she can’t ever make her shots. She made almost every shot on this hoop and it boosted her confidence enormously. Assembly was so easy with the instructions and the BILT app that walked you through each strep with pictures and videos. I love that this hoop will be able to grow with my kids. I feel confident this will be a favorite of ours for years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to receive our package for the Lifetime Basketball Hoop and got started assembling right away. I read the instructions, got the necessary supplies and went to work. I often have a difficult time assembling anything so I was sure to read and re-read the instructions multiple times. When I went to attach the hoop and board I realized I had incorrectly assembled the poles. Not only that, but the instruction that says “This is irreversible!” is the one I messed up on even though I had checked three times and was sure I was doing it correctly. I was so stressed out that I had done that. Thankfully when I called customer service they told me they allow a one time customer assembly error and sent me out new poles free of charge. They saved the day! When I received the new poles I was able to quickly put it together and get my basketball loving girl playing. I suggest if you have difficult times following instructions, like myself, to assemble along with the suggested video that comes with the assembly instructions. I should have done that the first time. I really like the adjustable hoop height so that it can grow with my daughter. I can also put it higher if my husband and I want to play. The other feature I like is that it easily rolls out of the way. The durability seems really great. The metal is well coated with protective paint and the plastic bottom is thick and will definitely withstand play and the elements.

We received this basketball hoop in the mail. The boys, 6 and 4, were excited to get it put up, but we needed to wait until dad got home. When he got home, he mostly put it up himself, while I helped with a few steps that he needed more hands for. It took about an hour, or so, to get it together. We used it for about a week, until my oldest daughter told me we had it backwards (as you can see in some of our photos, oops). The older kids (17, 16, and 12) have actually gotten off their devices to go outside and play since we put it up. We opted to fill ours with water, and haven't had any issues with that yet. We live on the coast, and have had a few windy days, and it's stayed up throughout the wind. We are pleased with this basketball hoop, and look forward to playing with it for years to come.

We finally had some nice weather to be able to set up our basketball hoop! Yay! The hoop was fairly easy to set up following the instructions. I love that this hoop is very simple and sturdy. It’s perfect for younger kids just starting out. It can adjust from 5ft, up to 7.5 ft high for taller kids trying to work on their dunks. This adjustable hoop, makes the perfect starter hoop for any little basketball loving kid looking to get into the game.

The instructions were easy enough that my two teenage daughters were able to put it together on their own. We love how it is able to adjust for my older kids vs younger kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this goal for my young daughter. The assembly is super easy, and the BILT app is a game changer for putting things together. It took me about 45 minutes with just needing help just to hold a couple pieces. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the front of the goal base in rounded instead of square. The reason I mention this is the ball will ricochet different directions and it also makes it a little more difficult to pull the goal down to change the height.

We just received our basketball goal last week and love it! Shipping was lightening fast, smooth delivery, and quick & easy to set up thanks to clear instructions. Just a few days after we had a wind storm and even though it was blown about 300 meters into the back field, it's still in great working condition minus a few scratches. Speaks volumes on it's durability. Our kids and my husband's at risk youth group have all fully enjoyed this great addition. I highly recommend and if I could give 10 stars I would.

I was unable to bring my old basketball goal with me to my new house, so this is an exciting feature to add to my home! Assembly took two people and less than an hour to complete with the both of us. It was simple to do with the QR code in the instructions, most of the installation was able to be completed by one person. It was packaged up very well and each piece was protected from bumps encountered during shipping transit. My favorite feature is the adjustable height powder-coated pole that goes from 5.5 feet to 7.5 feet. When the kids are playing I can keep it at a height they are comfortable with and when I feel like getting outside and shooting a few hoops I can raise it to a height I enjoy. It has telescoping adjustment, so it takes less than a minute to adjust! It has a 30-inch steel frame polycarbonate backboard which is the perfect type for bounce and rebounds! The net being “All-Weather” is a great feature to have as in the past my nets have all dry rotted within a year of use. I was very impressed with how durable it is and how it has held up to even the adults that have been playing too.
