Great little hoop! 2 people required for assembly. Watch the YouTube video ahead of time

The backboard was scratched quite a bit, otherwise product was as it was expected.

We received this basketball hoop in the mail. The boys, 6 and 4, were excited to get it put up, but we needed to wait until dad got home. When he got home, he mostly put it up himself, while I helped with a few steps that he needed more hands for. It took about an hour, or so, to get it together. We used it for about a week, until my oldest daughter told me we had it backwards (as you can see in some of our photos, oops). The older kids (17, 16, and 12) have actually gotten off their devices to go outside and play since we put it up. We opted to fill ours with water, and haven't had any issues with that yet. We live on the coast, and have had a few windy days, and it's stayed up throughout the wind. We are pleased with this basketball hoop, and look forward to playing with it for years to come.

Got this hoop for Easter for ages 8, 5, and 3. Took about 50 minutes to assemble. Not bad to assemble at all. Love that it's REALLY STURDY like these kids are HARD on things and this hoop will last through them growing! We've had a few other brands and so far this is the best hoop we've had they haven't stopped playing with it since we put it together and they a 3 can get use out of it since it's not giant. Which I LOVE! No ones sad they aren't big enough for it.

Purchased this item for my 4 year old and 8 year old sons, this is the perfect size hoop for them! Currently they play this in the garage but it seems durable enough to handle outdoor weather. I do wish the backboard was a tad bigger but so far so good it does extremely well for their size. I am a solo female parent so I tackled assembly alone, which was simple and quick enough if you follow directions via youtube., Took me about 40 -50 mins. However, I would recommend another set of hands to help put the backboard on the pole, that took some strategy. Other than that I would definitely recommend this hoop to others.

Best starter hoop for kids! And it looks like a normal hoop, not a dinky plastic kids toy. My six year old always gets frustrated when we go anywhere with a hoop because she can’t ever make her shots. She made almost every shot on this hoop and it boosted her confidence enormously. Assembly was so easy with the instructions and the BILT app that walked you through each strep with pictures and videos. I love that this hoop will be able to grow with my kids. I feel confident this will be a favorite of ours for years!

The instructions were easy enough that my two teenage daughters were able to put it together on their own. We love how it is able to adjust for my older kids vs younger kids. They have all been outside playing with friends for hours! Thank you Lifetime for this awesome opportunity. We just received this hoop in the mail today and had to put it together right away! My husband and I put the whole thing together in about 45 minutes. Assembly was fairly easy and we found the assembly video quite helpful (would recommend scanning the QR code provided in the instruction manual at the beginning). The two hardest parts were: 1) one tricky bolt/nut that attaches the post to the support legs, and, 2) the need for two people to put the backboard and hoop onto the pole (as they go on together). The look of the hoop is very attractive and we love the clear backboard! Our favorite feature is the breakaway rim, which made our kids feel like professional athletes trying to slam dunk the ball! The whole unit feels like it will be pretty durable and would be something that would grow with your child and last a long time. Our kids are ages 11, 8, and 3. I took a picture of all three of them in front of the hoop at it's full height so you can see just how big it is. There is also a photo with the hoop lowered all the way down, which was perfect for our 3 year old. Our two youngest kids probably enjoyed the hoop the most as it was kind of small for our oldest. We feel like it's probably most appropriate for kids ages 8 or 9 and below.

We have a 6 & 4 yr old and this hoop is the perfect size for them. The assembly took about 1 hr to complete. It was a little tricky getting the backboard connected to the post because some of the holes didn’t line up but we were able to get it to work. Don’t forget you need sand or water to fill the base when assembling it. Love that the base has a set of wheels in one end so it was easy to move around to decide where we wanted to put it. Overall it seems like a super durable hoop that will grow with our kids! Our kids have loved that it can be their size and easier for them to make baskets.
