We LOVE this hoop! We are huge Lifetime fans, and this is another great product. Assembly was very straightforward, they packaged the parts/steps individually which made finding hardware and parts so much easier! Only a standard wrench was needed. It’s small and light enough to do with one person, but having two makes it just a little easier. It fits through door ways, so it was a bonus to be able to assemble inside too. The quality and durability is excellent. Every component was very well made with a high level of precision, and you can tell it will withstand years of intense sun and chlorine and still look like new. So many products now look great in photos are cheaply manufactured when you see them in person, and this isn’t one of them. I appreciated the substantial base, because I’ve seen poolside basketball hoops tip over when a game gets rowdy or with wind. This isn’t going anywhere! With the wheels on the front, it’s still easy to move around with just one person. I love the modern look of the shark design! It makes it feel unique and custom. The design is so well done and placed on the back of the backboard, so it won’t scratch or fade. We can’t wait to get a second one for full scale games!

We recently received this poolside hoop and can already tell that it will live up to the Lifetime name, and quality. It was fairly easy to put together with two of us, but definitely recommend a box to set the backboard up on while installing hoop. My kids have thoroughly enjoyed playing with it in the pool already and know it will be a staple for a very long time. The only downside, according to my 11 year old son, is that he can’t dunk on it! I told him he just needs to grow a little more….ha!

We love our hoop! Instructions were clear and took about 30-45 min for one adult. Was mildly annoyed that the instructions were all mixed in with different languages-would prefer that the languages were all separated. But otherwise, things were pretty organized and packaged well. We have had hours and hours of pool time fun for all ages--even the "old men" get into a great game of water b-ball! It hasn't budged after being bumped and slam-dunked. We filled the base with water. We appreciate the wheels so we can move it. I love the design and colors -it looks great with our pool design. The white base even blends with our pool deck! It has added so much to our pool time, we play with it every time we swim! Even guests have commented how fun it is to play various games on the hoop. I have used lifetime products because I trust their durability -they make things to last! We look forward to years and years of use!

The instructions are clear and concise with diagrams showing a parts list, tools required, how to put things together, and what it should look like. Assembly takes about 30 minutes and is not at all difficult. (But I recommend 2 people). Our families favorite feature of the Lifetime 44-Inch Poolside Portable Basketball Hoop System is the fact that it does have the wheels that make it so you can move it around on your pool deck, and we also love the Dolphin Design on the backboard! The white base of this Basketball Hoop System really adds to the planning and Durability of this system since it won't get super hot sitting in the sun on a pool desk, and I love that the metal is powder coated to help prevent any rust from splashing water. This has become a favorite activity in our family, and rejuvenated our pool usage, thanks Lifetime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this hoop a month ago. It was relatively easy to put together but does require 2 people at one point to hold the rim and get the bolts through the holes with the spacers.

We love having this basketball hoop by our pool. The grand kids play with it for hours (the young ones AND the older ones)! It's sturdy, both the base and the hoop can withstand all the heavy duty play it gets. I highly recommend!

I Bought this two years ago and some parts were rusting out. called and they replaced the parts at no charge. even though the warrantee excludes rust.

Just bought the setup would have been nice to include a basketball like the box shows. Very solid this is why I gave it 4 stars you have to buy a basketball.

This hoop is so much fun to use in the pool. We love ours! Set up was quick and easy. We have enjoyed using it so far and I am sure it will last for many more summer seasons.
