Assembly was hard. Our instructions that came in the box told us to do it the wrong on page 13. We downloaded the instructions from the website and were able to do it correctly. Our kids have loved it and have spent to much time using it already even though it's not peak swimming season. It is super heavy duty and we are impressed with it. The only reason for the 4 stars is because of the assembly.

We just set up our new Lifetime pool basketball hoop. My kids and I loved it. It will add a lot of extra fun to our pool activities. The assembly was mush easier than I expected. It only took about 45 minutes with some help from my 10 year old son. I was also very presently surprised by how sturdy it is when the base is filled with water. I have played on other pool hoops that fall into the pool constantly. This one is very firm, even when my kids were dunking on it. I anticipate this will last us many years to come. Very good value for the price. Highly recommend!

We LOVE this hoop! We are huge Lifetime fans, and this is another great product. Assembly was very straightforward, they packaged the parts/steps individually which made finding hardware and parts so much easier! Only a standard wrench was needed. It’s small and light enough to do with one person, but having two makes it just a little easier. It fits through door ways, so it was a bonus to be able to assemble inside too. The quality and durability is excellent. Every component was very well made with a high level of precision, and you can tell it will withstand years of intense sun and chlorine and still look like new. So many products now look great in photos are cheaply manufactured when you see them in person, and this isn’t one of them. I appreciated the substantial base, because I’ve seen poolside basketball hoops tip over when a game gets rowdy or with wind. This isn’t going anywhere! With the wheels on the front, it’s still easy to move around with just one person. I love the modern look of the shark design! It makes it feel unique and custom. The design is so well done and placed on the back of the backboard, so it won’t scratch or fade. We can’t wait to get a second one for full scale games!

We got this hoop yesterday. Took us about an hour to assemble it, would’ve taken less time but we had to fix a couple poles that we had backwards. Instead of sand we used water to fill the base. My kids have been playing with it NONSTOP since we put it up. It’s been hit at least 100 times and it hasn’t budged! I love the size of it, it’s perfect for the side of the pool and isn’t an eyesore! I’m so happy we got it and I’m confident it’ll last all summer! Because of the way it’s built, it’ll be easy to store in the winter months, although my kids might want to leave it out and just throw balls from the diving board 😆.

We LOVE our poolside hoop! The whole family gets in on the fun! My boys love basketball and they couldn't wait to put it together and start playing. I can tell it's a high-quality hoop that is going to last a long time. My son assembled it on his own and did just fine. We love that it's sturdy and looks nice too. We couldn't be happier with it!

This basketball hoop was easy to assemble. My husband only needed my help a few times. You can tell that the materials were high quality because it stands very sturdy. It was easy to wheel over to where we wanted it and filling it up with the hose then moving it again was easy. As long as you have two people. I just wish it came with a basketball, but it worked with our little tikes basketball for now. Highly recommend!

We put this together the day we got because we were so excited to use it! And it did not disappoint!! Assembly wasn't too bad. It recommends 2 people to assemble, but my husband basically did it by himself. It took maybe 45 min-1 hr. From start to finish. Just be aware that you'll need a 1/2" wrench to assemble. Our favorite feature is the wheels making it easy to move and store. We also love the dolphin on the backboard. But the biggest thing we love is how durable and sturdy it is. We had a bunch of high school football players use it and I was a little nervous because they are huge and rough on things, but I only saw it move once and that's because 280 lbs dunked on it! It has held up amazingly well and is an extremely great product. We couldn't be happier with it! P.s. it doesn't come w a ball. Not a big deal, we just didn't realize that when it came.

Previously owned a Lifetime basketball hoop and loved it, but really fell in love with the clear backboard and fun/stylish decals on this one. I was able to assemble it by myself in about an hour and the quality/design make it super-sturdy and able to quickly move and position around the pool depending on what games we have going on. As with all Lifetime products, they've thoroughly thought through the various features and everything is built to be safe, secure, and durable for many years to come!

Such a fun and high quality poolside bball hoop!! My 14-year old son put this together as soon as we brought it home with just a little bit of help and minor frustration from the confusing instructions (and 2 missing nuts) but once we got past that it’s been an amazing addition to our backyard and pool! The kids and adults play with it every time we swim! We love the wheels so we can move it easily when summer is over. We filled the white base with water and the kids have played rough with it and even hang on the hoop and it hasn’t budged. We love the quality and durability of this poolside hoop! Thanks Lifetime for another great product!

I bought this item last summer for our pool, in less than 4 months the pole had rusted to the point that the pool deck was drastically stained. It could have easily been made from stainless steel or received a better protective coating. We really enjoyed the goal, but not worth the rust issues.
