Great Product - Instructions Lack Common Sense

This is a great trampoline. The instructions lack clarity. Hint. Line up the net mesh enclosure (where the poles will go) with the square openings on the trampoline frame or you will be taking off 96 springs and putting them on again. Using a tape measure is also critical. If I were writing the directions I would use bigger pictures and be more specific and go step by step. It is an oval trampoline and that makes a huge difference. Once installed CORRECTLY it is a great trampoline.

Large trampoline

The trampoline was pretty easy to assemble. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that we had to remove the surround as it would block our views at the lake. We do watch to make sure the kids are not being dangerous. That being said it made it very difficult to place the mat as the trampoline is oval and not round. I did go on YouTube and found a video tutorial and we are 98% sure its where it should be. So, I guess its not the kids being dangerous we need to worry about.

Overall Happy & So Are The Kids

The directions were really hard to understand and it took several hours to put together. Because of the poor instructions, we ended up having to take it back apart in order to get the netting to line up properly with the poles. We also had a problem after first attempting to space the springs out like the directions said that resulted in 1 or 2 springs being over stretched. Overall it is a good trampoline but the instruction manual needs improvement.

Satisfied customer

I got this for my 4 yr old gbaby. It took 2 guys an hour and a half to assemble. Very nice trampoline, built sturdy and looks like it will last for years to come. The assembly isn't bad, but make sure you look at the poles as some have circles and some squares, it's important to set one square then the next circle and so on and so forth.

Complex Install, Less Spring, but value for money

Overall, this is a good value for the cost. That said: Due to its oval shape, it's complex to install properly on the first try, and the instructions are pretty confusing. The foam padding for the net risers is also very cheap. Finally, there is much less spring then the previous 3 or 4 trampolines I've owned. Guessing this has more to do with the sheer size rather than the quality of materials, but notable nonetheless.

Great Trampoline

Love the size of this trampoline.. It was a little hard to get the frame together because of the shape and definitely takes two people but once that was done the rest came together easily.. Everything seems to be made out of quality products and do not seem cheep, I guess we will see how it holds up..

Follow instructions to the T!

Save yourself the headache and buy a round trampoline! The directions kind of suck. circle trampolines are super easy. This was a headache. And you cant even tell that it's an oval. It does not look like an oval! It looks like a circle. Yes it looks good assembled. But No I wouldn't buy again.

Worth the Investment

We shopped around and read lots of reviews and determined that Skywalker is the best brand. We also knew we wanted the maximum space for jumping and since the rectangle shape is pricier than the round or oval, we went with oval. Skywalker NEEDS to update their assembly instructions and mark both the frame and jumping surface with which sides are the long part of the oval. It is extremely hard to tell! Assembly took several hours but only because there weren't any identifying marks which meant we had to reassemble a couple times until we got it right. Once completed, we love it! Tip: We bought some deep ground stakes also as it will fly away with strong winds.

no bounce

We purchased this trampoline a few months ago to replace our old one. Although our old one had seen better days (8 years old) we wish we kept it now. It was way better quality. The old one was also a skywalker from Walmart (15'). The mat on the new one is very poor quality. When I was putting it together I didn't feel comfortable even standing on it to do the netting. I am under 200lbs and i felt like i was going to go through it it sagged so much. The metal posts and springs are also lower quality (compared to the old one). We still had the old one when I put the new one together and i knew we made a bad purchase when i tried bending both the old and new springs. The only good thing is that I don't have to worry about them doing flips any more. If your kids are younger (<8) then it will be fine. If they are older than 8 then they will get bored pretty quick.

You Get What You Pay For

We were so excited to add this large trampoline to our backyard. It was relatively easy to put together, as long as you follow the directions. We added stakes to ensure it doesn't blow away in spring storms. We had some 20-30 mph wind gusts recently and ALL of the poles holding the net bent. This has never happened on any previous trampolines we've owned. Very disappointed that the metal on this product is so cheap.
