[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the TV for my basement primarily to watch sports with friends over. Has great viewing angles and decent color contrast for the price. Mounting it was a little difficult due to weight and size but as to be expected with any 86 inch tv. Would recommend to someone looking for a budget sports watching tv to fill a large space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this TV as a gift. It replaced a basic 32” led one. I was stunned at the picture quality. The images are are do sharp and clear and bright. It was almost eerie. Even non HD channels jump out at you. I love this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV more than 3 months ago and it hasn't worked yet. Screen is half-dead. Service wants me to take picture. I did. They received and want more. WHY??? the picture I sent shows clearly the problem, and I'm not in the same state as the TV at the moment. Service is refused until I provide picture. Infuriating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking to upgrade my family room TV since October. I previously had a 70” LG, but could not beat the price of this 86”. I now own 3 LGs and couldn't be happier. This is a lot lighter than another LG 86er that my friend owns. Has great picture and sound. Great for watching movies.

The smart tv is amazing in many ways, and as a senior citizen I found the settings/control system to be extremely useful and user-friendly. However the WebOS operating system was a real disappointment. The system isn't compatible with Android apps and for me that means I can't access and stream the PBS Passport system which is a primary video source for me. Very disappointing!

I am on my second company of internet because the TV has so many apps and gadgets that requires a lot of MGB and it doesn't even grabs it. I hired the 300 MGB internet and I still had 4 MGB on my settings with my second wireless company. The TV buffers and takes a while to load. Also, the Alexa built in is only for the TV no microphone and you need to press a button to make it work. It's not hands free.

This TV's picture quality is excellent. The sound volume from the TV is a little on the quiet side. The pain point is in the software. The Universal Remote Settings do not function very long. We keep having to delete the settings and then attempt to re-establish them which takes multiple attempts before it works again for a little while longer. We are using a Roku 4K Stick. Software in general is slow and there is a noticeable lag between input and output.

I'm the past we have brought TCL Roku TV's and they did what it's suppose to do. Picture quality isn't the best but it served its purpose and user friendly. Buying this LG made us realized how clear the picture quality can be when you buy a reputable brand like LG. We most likely won't ever buy another brand of TV. We love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV 2-3 weeks ago, so far my experience is really good, all the features working as expected, super fast and reliable. I know the LG has its own content store, it would be even better if we could download some apps from Play Store.
