[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love LG in general . My last flat screen was not a smart tv, but it was also an LG, and I enjoyed it for 10 years. This tv is user friendly and great picture too. I am very happy with it and look forward to using it for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with the 86-inch UQ8000. The picture is sharp whether I'm watching sports, news, live tv or movies, and the sound is excellent. The only criticism I have is the magic remote. I still haven't figured out how it works because keys seem to change their functions very now and then, and there isn't much info on the manual how to properly set it up.

After 3 weeks of use I've found the remote confusing to use, not as easy as ROKU. The TV guide & menu screens are too small to read at 10-12' . Would be nice to be able to set a larger format for the menu & TV guide screens along with it's brightness & contrast for those with deminished sight. Overall, a good performing TV for bedroom or home office environment. Sound clarity is good.

The TV sound is not consistent when there is a commercial, sound comes on loud which I think is the commercials themselves but after that when it goes back to the regular program it's even louder, The color for each program is not consistent, it will change with each channel. We have two other LG 55 inch and neither one of them have these problem.

Easy to connect to channels, close caption, instructions for the remote, and also clear picture are always the top of the list. For this deal, the price was great and we also got the model we were looking at. I trust LG and look forward to future products down the road.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this few weeks ago, it's a big tv with good quality picture. Not really sure how good the 4K when compared to the other TVs I have seen. Audio quality is nice !! The webos is not that great. Would prefer a faster and better OS.

Have always been happy with LG tvs - this is our third. The 55” this wa purchased to replace is still going strong. That 55” is not a smart TV, but mostly functioned as one with an Amazon Firestick. Was hoping to avoid another device with this purchase and the various logins required when switching apps. Unfortunately, I've since learned that ESPN+ is not available for download to the LG TV … back to the separate device. Oddly, Disney+ is available for download and it is usually bundled with ESPN+ so I'm not sure why both aren't options.

I've owned the TV for 2 months. The TV comes with many apps and is generally easy to use. My major complaints are 1 The TV cannot handle dark scenes.. think of GOT. 2 The original stands are plastic and barely stabilize the TV from falling. LG has sent metal stands to improve stabization. I haven't placed them as the TV is very heavy and requires 2 strong people to manipulate it. My son will help on Thanksgiving. I probably wouldn't buy again because of the way it handles dark scenes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought this TV recently and it's been a great add to our home, the iPhone connection is amazingly fast, the controller with voice command helps a lot and pointing the controller using it as a mouse is a game changer! There are a lot of setups with blue light reduction, sounds setups and it's amazing when I want to listen to music or play long hours and not get my eyes tired.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased for an activity/craft room (approx 12x13). The TV is just about perfect for this purpose. It attached to our existing wall mount with no issues. Video quality is better than expected for a TV at this price point. Normal HD/4k streaming is spectacular. Upscaling for some of the older shows we watch (Quincy, Emergency, Buck Rogers, etc) is also very good. The TV is also bright enough we do not need to worry about turning any lights off when doing any activities in the room. Sound quality is good for the size of our room and lack of any ambient noise. The base is a bit weak for some movies but that is to be expected. If we were to put this in the living room a sound bar or other speakers would likely be needed. There is not much to say about the Smart features. We use the Fire Stick and have not used any apps from the TV. All in all this was a solid purchase. LG will be in the running for our next TV as long as we do not run into any long term issues with this one.
