Great budget buy.

Looking for a 55" budget priced TV? This 2022 LG model is just the ticket. Took one off the shelf, went through self checkout, drove home, and hooked it up. Easy set up, great a5 processor, great remote, great audio. Huge difference from my tired 11 year old Vizio it replaced.

Nice pic qual but the interface is horrendous

The picture is great for the price as long as you use the native webos apps/interface. However, there is a degradation of picture quality using external devices such as the fire stick 4k max, or Chromecast with google TV 4k. The problem is that the webos interface is EXTREMELY slow and buggy and the apps themselves are inferior to those of other systems, the remote is absolutely horrendous. I will probably return this - this is by far the most frustrating interface I've ever had to deal with.

Impossible to watch dark content

TV screen has several white splotches around the edges and two big ones on top right amd low left corners. You can't watch stuff like the new LOTR series, or batman, etc. Playing with the setting didn't help. I don't know if this is a deffect or if it's just how bad this TV is. Can I disable the remote pointer? It's so annoying! Also the fact that it keeps coming up if you move the remove.
