I will say that I like some of the other Tide options better like the Tide with Oxi and Tide with Febreeze to give a little extra cleaning and clean smell. However, Tide Original still does the job well to thoroughly clean my clothes and keep whites white as well as colors colorful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since buying an HE washing machine a little over 10 years ago, I've pretty much always used pods from different brands and frankly, I haven't been super pleased with any of them. I thought the issue was the washing machine, but after switching to Tide liquid detergent, I actually think my issue was the pods. I never felt like my laundry was getting really clean. I had to add various powdered boosters to help with odor or stain removal, etc. The worst thing was the random stains that would show up on my cotton clothes after washing. I'm thinking these were from pods not fully breaking down in the wash. Since switching to liquid Tide, I haven't been having any of these issues so I think I'm a liquid convert. I don't love the Original scent and it definitely lasts on my clothes so I'll try a different scent next time. The clear blue cap makes it easy to measure and honestly it's not any more time consuming than tossing in a pod.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the scent of origional Tide. It is my favorite, and it cleans better than other detergents. Tide even gets the funk out of the dog blankets and towels. It's concentrated and a big bottle lasts us a long time, even when I do laundry every single day it lasts 2+ months. Tide removes stains and odors and the scent last a long time too. My mom uses it so, maybe that's why I love the scent so much, it smells so clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say about Tide? How about that it's pretty much the perfect laundry detergent??!! First, it's been around for years. Mom used it when I was a kid. We still use tide in my home today so that is important. Tide has a light but clean smell. It's not overpowering for people that don't like a lot of perfumes in their detergents. Next, it's easy to use. The lid has the measurements for your laundry load size clearly marked. Any soap that doesn't drain out of the lid into the machine, drains back into the bottle when the lid is replaced. I have a front-loading washing machine so one of the things I do not want is a ton of suds not rinsing out of the clothing. Tide now has what they call “he turbo clean”. The suds are supposed to break down faster while still cleaning and rinsing away effectively and efficiently. I found this to be true while using the product. Tide is great for getting laundry clean. I really feel that tide gets stains out of clothes and keeps them looking clean and new longer. Tide is also great for pretreating tougher stains before washing the stained item with your normal laundry loads. Tide is a winner in my book. If you're not on the Tide bandwagon yet, it's worth your money to try it today.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have loved Tide. It has always worked well with cleaning our clothes and leaving them soft and fresh smelling. A little goes a long way. I like that it is HE compatible with our machine. It still smells fresh after coming out of the dryer.

I prefer the smell of Gain, but Tide does a great job of getting our clothes clean. It even removes the grease/oil smell from my husband's work clothes. The scent is a bit more musky than I'd prefer, but as far as detergent goes, Tide is a solid buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It had good cleansing power in cold water for my colored clothes. I had no major stains on my laundry so I can't judge on that factor. None of my laundry faded, all the clothes held their bright color.
