I have used Tide Original for years. First the powder and the the liquid. it used to be the scent was unremarkable. This meant that in the winter clothing or sheets didn't stand out for their good or bad scent. But when the season's changed I looked forward to being able to hang my laundry out in the fresh air. It always smelled so good.... so fresh. Now, the detergent scent is so strong that my laundry no longer smells good when hung out to dry. My bra has the overwhelming chemical smell for days...... it is stronger than the perfume I wear. It used to be that there was nothing better than the smell of your bed sheets freshly off the line when you went to bed. Now, I can't sleep for the extreme strong chemical smell that even our fresh air can't overcome. I no longer want to slip between the sheets and curl my nose into my pillow.......It stinks! Hard to sleep holding your nose!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide is my go to laundry detergent. I love how clean it gets my clothes (and my super messy children's clothes)! If there is a stain on the clothes I just put some Tide on it and let it sit for a bit then it's clean when I take it out of the wash. The Tide original scent is my favorite. It makes my clothes smell clean and fresh all throughout the day. The 100oz bottle is easy to hold and pour. The lid is made of a softer material so it is easy to squeeze and turn to get the lid off and pour the detergent into the right spot. The measurements on the lid are very easy to read as well.

Tide is and has been for a long time a fantastic detergent for all kinds of materials. I also use it for handwashing, the added benefit is it bleach is out my nails to a very bright white… However I took a star off precisely for that reason: tide is so strong that it will make your clothing fade faster than the life of it.

I scent my laundry the way I want, but Wow, I love the smell of this. I'm not sure if Tide changed their formula, but it is like a 2 in 1. Great cleaning + wonderful smell! I love the fragrance, and it cleaned very well. My husband is in his uniform for 12+ hrs a day so I really need a detergent that works against odor, and Tide does! I am going to wash my bedding next so when you walk in the bedroom you can smell the clean & fresh scent!

If you have a deep stain pre treat with Tide for 24 hrs then wash. Tide may cost a little more but you will end up saving money in the end.

Easy to use with the measuring cap and can adjust the amount of detergent for the load size. Tide is a three generation laundry detergent for our family because it is so dependable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tide pack a punch. Cleaned some of my dirtiest loads. Also, I got blueberry juice on a light pink sweatshirt. I didn't have any pretreatment stuff on hand, so I used a bit of the Tide, left it on for a bit then washed a load with the detergent. You can't even find where the blueberry juice was, it worked great!! Love this stuff!
