I have used other brands but with tide I don't feel as if there a filmy residue when I am finished with doing laundry. I love the fresh smell that it leaves behind as well.

What's going on with Tide?! Been using for 15 years, always trusted Original Tide for clean clothes and fresh scent. This one is different, after reading reviews they changed the “Original” scent and now the original is Mountain Spring?? How does that make sense?? The reviews for the original Tide have plummeted to 3.5 star rating merely bc they changed the scent, please fix this problem Tide. Love your products but I want to know Im using the Original that was in fact the Original, not “Mountain Spring” and yes scent is subjective and a personal preference but changing the original and still calling it original is not a welcome change. Will be looking at other detergent brands until the Original Tide is back. Please consider going back to original scent Tide, thank you!!

This product smells great it isnt a heavy scent but enough to where I dont need fabric softener and keeps my clothes smelling fresh! It also cleans our clothes without any work on my behalf and that's a must in my house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tide laundry detergent perfectly washes my cloth and linen , I like that it removes stains and makes my cloth clean and smells nice. One cap is enough to wash the full load of laundry. After trying less expensive brands I came back to Tide. It takes less detergent and does much better job, than the lower cost detergents.

First I love that I actually save money buying this brand. To switch from using warm and hot water to just cold ,I know is saving money on my water bill. (I do lots of laundry for a family of 6) I tested this on very heavy soiled clothes and I only added the recommended amount (u typically always do 2 cap fulls for heavy soiled clothes) and I was impressed with how clean the clothes were and what good smell they had. (So I'm saving money there too!) I'm very impressed with how the whites came out. Very clean and bright white. Especially for my kids clothes cause typically don't come out bright white. They either have stains , or they are an off white. I'm definitely switching to tide cold water.

Tide gets put to the test on everything from clothing, to dog beds to sofa coverlets and throw rugs. Everything comes out clean and refresh. A little bit goes a long way. Great for our front load washer. Thanks for staying ahead of dirt for all these years!
