Easy to set up, just takes a little time directions weren't to bad, did it myself with no problems. Love that I could get rid of my free weights and free up room... looks and works great.

Assemble

So far so good. It was a pain putting it together. I recommend looking the video up . I ended up using the video when attaching the cables. Feels sterdy and feels well built. I donnot forecast any issues.

Great unit for a compact space

Bought this for my almost teenage son to play around with. Weight selection is very easy by simply inserting the pin in desired weight plate. This would be good for anyone with limited space. Assembly was not too difficult. It took just over 2 hours to put together. Pleased with this unit so far

Exactly what I needed. Instructions are great.

This gym is worth buying over the others for its ab attachment, which is great for your back. But it offers the core features that I needed without over-hyping the number of exercises I will never do. Assembly instructions were great -- much better than Ikea. My only 2 minor suggestions are that the top pull-down bar should probably be a little higher. So if you are tall, that may be a problem. And the metal housing over the weights, which you have to reach thru to change the weight, could have a smoother inside edge. It wont cut you though. Neither is a major issue -- I would still buy it again.

Good unit

This unit has good weight and solid rubber feet so little to no movement. It is good to be sitting there like watching tv and you are still moving your body. The resistance maybe could be a little more but that could lead to a lot of sliding. Overall a very good unit.

Good workout

This has worked well for us. It is versatile and provides many different workout options. I can see where it may be short for someone who is over 6 ft tall. Also it would be great if the seat and back were adjustable. But I like using it and it works well for a home workout machine.

Marcy 150lb Stack Home Gym - MWM-4965

I have only had the Marcy for a couple of weeks. When I received the 3 boxes, I found it very easy to assemble. The instructions are clear and the parts are easy to identify. Like others, it took me just over 4 hours to assemble. I am very happy that I purchased it and would recommend it to others..

MARCY 150LB STACK HOME GYM | MWM-4965

The machine is easy to use. The directions to put it together where easy to follow. It does take a few hours to complete. My only complaint is the predrilled seat screw holes are off-set so the seat is crooked. I would recommend this machine to a friend.

Good product, beware shipping and instructions

The product itself is pretty good quality, especially for the price. Now my first order sat and sat "waiting to be picked up". Called Sams who cancelled that order and reordered. Finally got that shipment. One other items to be aware of, I consider myself a master assembler having assembled numerous items over the years. This is by far the most complex and difficult to assemble. There are no words, just diagrams. And one diagram may show 30+ parts (think washers, nuts, bolts, etc.) that are part of one step (instead of breaking down into numerous steps). I had to really slow down and think through alot of it and still had a couple of times I had to go back and change something around. Just be aware the instructions are terrible. I also was missing one part (which unfortunately means I can't use the machine yet as many parts in the pully system rely on other parts). I put in email and I did receive a response they are shipping out that part.

Read this review. Then buy it.

The machine arrived in a clean, undamaged box. I opened it, spread out all the pieces and took inventory. Every piece was there. I have assembled a few machines over the years and this was the easiest. It may look confusing at first, but that's just because each picture shows every washer, nut, bolt and so on. Assemble one step at a time and in short order, about 4 hours, it will all be done. The small parts are all mounted on cardboard under clear plastic and labeled by which step they are to be used. The step labeling was a little off, but all the small parts were right there. Upon completion, I saw that one of the cables was wrong size. I called the service number and after sending pictures to show my assembly, they said it was correct and would sent new cable. They did; by priority mail. Quick fix by substitution. Measure cables before assembly, length of each is on parts inventory. Be nice to customer service, they didn't manufacture any parts, but will definitely get you what you need. The 150lbs stack gives you 200 on the bench press, this should be on the ad site. Great machine, great service, well worth the price.
