these tires are unmatched they are the best the day after i bought them it was raining pretty heavy and i was taking turns at 65mph and it was like it wasnt raining, the other day had a snowstorm 9" drove through with no issues at all i absolutely love the tires.

I have owned my Michelin Climate 2 tires for several months, and I am very disappointed. First off they are a very noisy Tire. Doesn't matter what speed you are going or what kind of road you're on. Secondly, they have a high rolling resistance. My mileage has dropped by 3 miles per gallon. Lastly, they are a terrible ride. You feel every bump and road imperfection.

I bought these two months ago and have a couple thousand miles on them. They are far superior to the OEM Pirellis as you don't feel every bump in the road and are much quieter. In addition, the traction has been excellent on wet and dry pavement. Initially, I looked at these, and another brand, and the retailer told me to get these "hands down." He was 100% correct.

An excellent all-season or winter changeup tire for almost any application where rain, ice, and moderate snow are factors (a legitimate 'snowflake', 3PMSF) while maintaining confidence at high speeds, and enhancing certain performance characteristics such as cornering and braking. I just ordered the CrossClimate2 to replace a pair of CrossClimate+ on my [FWD] Mazda, not needing to consider another tire, as I recently chose a set of CrossClimate2 on my [AWD] Lexus IS for the new winter set and I could not be happier with them. You do need to be attentive and work them in properly during the break-in period, as they can be a little loose during that break-in. If you do break them in properly you will have a better chance of being a satisfied Customer, this is true with just about ANY tire. I suspect some of the complaints around these either do not understand that break-in approach and/or received poor advice - or no advice at all, from their Installers. As far as gas mileage and road noise comments go I would disregard those as the performance and safety of these tires far exceed any inconvenience in those areas, I've had dozens of different tires on similar vehicles and these are neither loud nor inefficient gas-wise, long-term. I gained back my MPG and then some with these compared to multiple other brands. My only complaint of sorts would be the tire/tread life, where I have just over 20k on a pair of CrossClimate+ after approximately 2 years. That is very low mileage-wise, however,, they have been great through everything nature has thrown at them and even though they have 3-4/32nd left out of the 9/32nds when new, I'm replacing them early for safety concerns instead of trying to squeeze another season or three out of them, which I probably could, but better safe than sorry. My family drives these cars daily and I'm more comfortable with them having more tread. I am expecting more life out of the CrossClimate2 with 10/32nds new... I will likely post a separate performance-centric review for the CrossClimate2 experience on the Lexus, as I only have a few hundred miles on that vehicle, but so far the results exceed expectations, providing a very stable and consistent ride, better than any of the other tires I've ever had on that Lexus. If anything the tires amplify the driving experience on my vehicles and sometimes that means revealing suspension issues and other inconsistencies in their feedback, the type of precise feedback that less dynamic and responsive tires do not provide. This is another likely limitation of understanding on the part of some CrossClimate Owners.

We purchased these tires for our Acura MDX while on a trip in Colorado. While they look nice with that tread, they are so loud driving that it would seem we were in an off-road truck with those big truck tires. We have had them for a bit, but we felt the need to say something. I wouldn't recommend these tires at all.

Long time Michelin Tire Buyer, I've had the AT & Defenders on many model vehicles. Wife has 2016 Toyota Sienna AWD Limited. OEM came with Run flats which were noisy and hard. I changed to Defenders which is a great tire. With 63,000 miles we just installed Cross Cimate 2 size 235-55/18. Michelin knocked it out of the park with these tires. Feels like I'm driving a luxury 80k SUV now. Smooth, Quiet and tons of control. I can not believe how quiet and smooth they ride. We live in Florida but also spend a lot of time in the Mountains of NC. NO snow yet but Ill report once we do. Im pretty confident they will perform. Thank You Michelin.

I am a faithful Michelin user for 30 plus years (driving 64 yrs) on light pickups, full size cars and mid size cars, utility van, have a Yukon XL 4 WD with 264,000 miles that has never had anything other than Michelin. I have never been disappointed with Michelin tires until now. Put a set of Cross Climate 2 on a 2017 Ford Escape at 51,638 miles and the car handles great, like an expensive sports car. However the tires are excessively noisy to the point I thought something was wrong with the car, the wheels or what ever. I paid three different tire shops to evaluate, one of which is my primary tire dealer and they all concluded nothing wrong with the car, it's the tires. It sounds like a pickup with a cheap set of worn out tires which I have owned before. The Cross Climate 2 will easily last 60,000 miles or more on this vehicle which means we must tolerate the noise another minimum 36,940 miles until time for a new set of tires. The tires perform very well as advertised with the exception of the noise. The noise is disappointing and embarrassing, especially when we have guest onboard. Photos upon request.

I've been driving on Michelin tires since I purchased a 1963 Citroen ID19, whilst I was stationed with 4CIBG in the CDN Army in West Germany. In 1972, I purchased a Volvo 142 in Canada. It came with Goodyear tires which were GARBAGE after 21,000 MILES (not Kms). The replacement Michelins lasted for 63,000 MILES (not Kms) as did their replacement Michelins. In 1975, I bought a new 1957 Ford F150. It came with Firestone original equipment tires. MORE GARBAGE after 19,000 MILES!! In 61 years, I've never had a bad experience with Michelin tires and I'm a ripe 87-year-old fart!!

We purchased these tires for our Audi Q5 3.0T several months back and couldn’t be happier. Prior to these, I wasn’t able to drive faster than 50 mph in the rain as the suv would hydroplane nonstop. Scary!! My husband came across these and decided to take a chance on them. Not only did the hydroplaning stop, the vehicle rides better than it ever has. Additionally, we just had a major snow storm today (first since having these bad boys) and I was able to drive it like it wasn’t even snowing. I was also able to get up hills that other vehicles were stuck on without any issues at all. Hands down the best tires in the snow I have ever ever had. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Not sure what they want.

I've had these tires on my 2011 Honda Pilot for the last 3 winters, these tires are exceptional in everyway. I'm 55 and have driven over 1.5 million kilometers so far. I live in Ontario and have family in New Brunswick, we drive to NB a minimum of 3 times a year. Christmas, March Break and summer. We have experienced every weather condition imaginable on these journeys. The Michelin Cross climate 2's handle anything that it has thrown at it. They have exceptional traction in all weather conditions. I have put approximately 70,000 Km on them and they handle just as incredibly as the first day they were put on the vehicle. The wear is even and consistent on all 4 corners of the Honda. I recommend these tires to anyone I meet. There is also the added bonus of never having to change or store winter tires again. These are the best tires I have ever driven on, I always feel safe and confident when travelling anywhere with these on my vehicle.
