The size alone is breathtaking, but what really stands out is the picture quality. The contrast is much better than I expected, with deep blacks, bright highlights, and excellent detail in both dark and bright scenes. The brightness is strong enough to make HDR content pop while still looking great in a bright room during the day. Samsung's 4K upscaling also deserves praise. Even older HD content looks noticeably sharper and cleaner, making cable TV, streaming, and YouTube videos look fantastic on such a massive display. Native 4K content is absolutely stunning, with crisp details and vibrant, natural-looking colors. Motion handling is another pleasant surprise. Fast-paced sports, action movies, and gaming all look smooth and clear, with very little blur or judder. Combined with the huge screen size, it creates an incredibly immersive viewing experience. The smart TV interface is fast and easy to use, and setup was straightforward. For a 98-inch TV, the DU9000 delivers an amazing balance of size, brightness, contrast, motion performance, and value. Every time I turn it on, it feels like having a movie theater in my home. One of the standout features of the Samsung 98" Crystal UHD DU9000 is its excellent colorimetry. It's like a theater in the living room. All of my guest thought it was a projector, as it is so clear even though it's so wide. I suggest anyone to make this purchase. The price was awesome and you'll never regret that you began to use Samsung.

The bright and the 4k was great I loved the contrast of the color when you watch any sort og movie of TV show.

Although the sound is low even when adjusting the settings on TV, bluetooth speaker or apps. Overall, a great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV for my media room on 6/8/24. The picture was great and offered many great streaming options. I wish there were more than 3 HDMI inputs as I would like to connect more devices. On 9/19/25, after the warranty expired, the screen started to pixelate when using most applications. Shortly after the tv stopped turning on at all. I had the two boards replaced in the tv and it turned back on. Unfortunately, the screen now has a black section in the middle with a red and green lines. I'm a big supporter of Samsung products and will only use Samsung phones. It's sad that the tv lasted only a short time.

I received this TV an upon turning it on, the screen remained black and there was appearance of large bubbles at the top of the screen. Samsung made it good and accepted the return and gave me full credit towards another TV. My last Samsung TV is still going strong after 10 years and the picture is still perfect!

We've been a fan of Samsung for a long time till last month. So disappointed in the way they treat us. 3hrs of loop me over and over to 3 different departments. I have undeniable physical proof that no user damage occurred. My home security surveillance camera is aimed directly at the TV, and I have captured the exact two-minute window where the TV panel spontaneously cracked while remaining completely untouched. Despite this evidence, I have been unable to get Samsung to properly review my case or honor the warranty. They kept saying “physical damage and is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty”. Please tell me why that the TV was operating under normal conditions for the past month only to find out later on that a crack starts to appear internally not externally?
