Love those white letters

I love my new T/A radials. They make a huge difference in the look for my 1967 Mustang

2156014 Radial T/A

The brown letters was caused by my old metal ramps from changing the oil....The tires were too wide & rubbing. Very easy to clean. Use your regular kitchen dish scrubbie thinge....they say to use a brown 3M pad but the blue ones work great with some sort of cleaner...I use windex, clean them, then rinse. Problem solved.

Muscle Car tire upgrade

I purchased a 1969 Ford Torino 351 GT with reproduction Polyglas tires on it. I'd forgotten how bad bias ply tires were - the car wandered all over the road, the tires squealed easily - it felt like there was a brick on each wheel. Traction in the rain was scary. I replaced them with 215/70-14 Radial T/A's - a good match for the original F70-14 size. Huge improvement - much better traction wet or dry, better grip in the corners and off the line. They even ride better. In my opinion, installing these tires is the best single thing you can do to improve the handling of an older muscle car. A+. Only drawback is you have to change the old "bias ply" front end alignment settings to get the best handling from these radial tires.

Look great, quiet ride, and have no issues with wear

Had these ta radials on 2 vehicles, and still have 2 from 2010 on my truck and see many saying side walls blow out , had rear 2 finally slip a belt which happens when tire is past time to be replaced run correct pressure and due alignments, check shocks and suspension parts they will last like all rubber tires , and also keep rotated, so you guys make great tires and keep up good work also never had issue with the white letters still look good even after 14 years and my truck sits outside in all weather changes lol

Not happy with my 3rd set of tires

To be honest this is my 3rd set of tires on a classic car and I am not happy with them. This set seems to be a lot more noisy than previous ones

Brown letters

I agree with the other reviews, the white letters will turn brown, and you can not get them white again, very disappointed, with that, other wise they ride nice, if you can stand the brown letters, thinking of trying to find a way to paint them white again

White Letters are Brown

Since the purchase of the tires they have been on the road somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 miles. The white lettering is brown. Every time I scrub them they look a little better but the browning returns quickly. Since they are on a classic vehicle we would like them to look as they should.

Brown tires

Well would have thought BFG had fixed this issue years ago. My tires are 2 yrs. old and car is garaged, driven 1000 miles or so a year. After a few hours in the sun at a car show the whole sidewall turns brown , not just the white letters. Looks like I went 4 wheeling in the mud. Car rides awesome with tires but looks awful. Should have bought the Cooper tires.

Raised Brown letter tires

I bought 4 new BF Goodrich Radial TA's for my rotisserie restored 68 Camaro in 2015. The car is garaged 100% of the time, never once seen rain or even a wet road. I have now only put 8000 miles on it since the restoration. The letters will not come clean no matter what I do. It is an embarrassment at any car show when you hear things like " beautiful car, you would think the owner would take the time to clean the tires" I have ran TA radials on the car for decades as i have always liked the tires but I guess it's time to find another brand.

Raised letters look awful

I bought these tires for a recently restored 1968 Mustang convertible that I’ve owned for nearly 40 years. I’ve tried everything to keep the raised white looking white, nothing lasts, they ooze brown. Even the black looks brown stained. The car is kept in the garage only driven on sunny days with dry roads. I owned these back in the day and never had this issue. Given all the complaints you really should come up with a solution and some assistance. Thank you.
