I live in NW South Carolina - Scott's products work! I highly endorse this product. I attempt to fertilize my lawn at least twice a year using Scott's products-Scott's Weed and Feed is an absolute must! Other brands might work as well, but Scott's products produce over the top lawn national company-I have tried them-use Scott's. ...use your savings for these two major tips; plant winter rye and cut your grass high! I have used this product before and it has worked very well for me. The bag I opened today had wet, clumpy fertilizer inside. There's no way it will spread with my Scott's rotary spreader. Going to leave it sit in the hopper for a few days and see if it dries out.

It provides everything your lawn needs and keeps weeds under control. Scotts Turf Builder with weed and feed does it all with one product easily applied. A great value as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For many years, I used store brands of a 4-step program and the results were OK. Grass got green but really never filled in and most of the weeds were killed only to come back the following year. I decided to try the "old standby" Scotts two years ago - WOW! Grass stayed green longer, weeds went away and DID NOT COME BACK plus the grass I did have stated to fill in and get thicker. It might hurt the pocket-book at first but the difference is remarkable!

I used this product every year and I have a lot success with weeds and dandelions. I got neighbors on both sides of me who doesn’t treat their yards and sometimes it can be a challenge. I am very happy with my yard. Sometimes I may have to do a follow up and spray for maintenance one time during the Summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected. Killed the weeds i needed pretty fast and uses fertilizer as well. Lawn grew back lusher this time after my application. I even used on my neighbors lawn and can tell the difference compared to the other home owners. I would definitely recommend.

Applied the weed and feed turf builder at 8am so there was dew on the grass and the granules adhered to the clover leaves. Two weeks later the cover is taller and growing faster than the grass. It does work on dandelions but not much else. For the last 3 years of using Scott's Turf Builder I also needed to use Weed B Gone to get rid of clover and English daisies. Scott's Weed and feed turf builder is false advertising.
