[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this product on my lawn last week. It's working just as advertised However you need to read the directions and follow them carefully. I use a Scott's spreader which has the easy to use dial. I watered my lawn lightly and spread the Weed and Feed. The dandelions are now dead and the pesky chickweed is turning yellow as it dies

I used to consider Scotts to be the gold standard. The last two seasons have only nailed my minimal dandelion population and parts of my clover. Seems to have juiced the chickweed plants though and since its been 8 weeks not sure what I can do as they you can only use twice a year, presumably spring and fall. Sad really..

I bought this product last month and applied it according to directions, first it did not cover the area it was suppose to (used a Scotts edge guard spreader) and it did not kill one weed! wonder if they had bad batch. Been using Scotts for years without a problem .Landscaper said nothing is working this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been buying Scotts turf builder weed and feed 3 for many years. The last bag I put on my turf burned my turf. I think this was a bad batch, maybe not made correctly? My turf is slow to recover from this bad batch. Maybe a bad day at the factory where this was produced.

I have used this for years and it's really only good for stimulating growth. doesn't kill dandelions; I still have to pull them. Doesn't get rid of clover at all. Why have I used it for years? Great question. I am only just now reading the label and noticing it doesn't do what it promises.

I bought this a week ago from a local hardware store. I know they recently received a shipment of it. I had ZERO clumps in the bag. It distributed perfect with my Scotts drop spreader. I wonder if people having clumping issues are getting it from big box retailers and maybe the product is old or was over stacked and compressed as a result. Anyway, the day after it quit raining and we had a least two days of no rain predicted, I lightly watered the lawn by hand with a hose end sprinkler, then applied it. I could see where it stuck to some clover. So far very happy with the product. I only went 4 star because I have yet to see the results; I am sure the fertilizer is good, just waiting to see how the weed killer does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Scotts Turf Builder Weed & Feed a bit later then anticipated and so I had a few dandelions growing in my lawn that I literally pulled them out by their roots as from previous experience they will not die once they root well. I set out early next morning while the lawn was still wet from the overnight dew as you'll need it to be wet so the product sticks onto the weeds to kills them. I loaded up my spreader and set to the correct dial. I spread it evenly going back and forth. I waited close to 48 hours for it to do it's job then watered it per usual. I haven't seen any new dandelions or any weeds and my lawn is nice and green. Very satisfied with these results. Be sure to really follow the directions. If you do it haphazardly you will not get the results GUARENTEED.

The only thing holding it back from an excellent overall rating was the recurrence of some clover. That could have been my fault. Aslo, my value rating was average because the coverage area didn't quite match that bag's rating. NO, it wasn't the spreader (Scotts) or setting. A 15K bag always covers my yard, this time it didn't come close.
