When it dries out, it forms hard clumps. If the product is stored in high heat or humidity or gets rained on, this can happen. Another possible cause is the product being stored on a concrete or cement floor or leaning against a wall made of either material. Concrete/cement draws moisture and can increase the chance of moisture getting in the bag. You should notice the weeds begin to curl and yellow a few days after application due to this excessive growth. The weeds will die within a 2-to-4 week period, depending on temperature conditions. When applying, the lawn must be wet for the product to stick to the broadleaf weed leaves. The product must remain on the weed leaves for 24 hours. Temperatures must be consistently (several days in a row) between 60 and 90°F. For listed grassy weeds to be prevented, this has to be applied before the target grassy weeds germinate.We want you to be confident in our products.
