Passes the test of time

This product burns the grass and kills it

I followed the instructions and sprinkled it over my lawn to make it stronger. Everywhere I sprinkled it, the grass has died. DEAD, yellow, BURNT grass. Thanks Scotts!

We are sorry to hear of the problems you had with your Scotts Weed and Feed. We would like to offer some possible answers and solutions: Damage can occur if products are accidentally over applied, unevenly applied, or applied to drought and heat stressed turf. Over application or uneven application can be avoided by using a calibrated broadcast or drop spreader. This type of damage can sometimes be minimized by watering 1/2 inch every 3 days if rain is not expected. We suggest that you follow this program for the next 4 weeks if you do not receive sufficient rainfall. We also recommend that you do not apply any other product for the next 4 weeks while your lawn tries to recover from this situation. Be aware that issues such as lawn disease or insects feeding are often mistaken for product damage. You may want to take a sample of the damaged area to a reputable nursery to rule these out. We would like to further discuss this matter with you and have found these situations are handled more efficiently over the phone. Doesn’t work

I bought the Scott’s Turf Builder weed and feed. Now the grass does grow but also all the weeds grow and there hasn’t been any sign of the weeds dying. UPC0-32247-25009-2

Fantastic product.

Scotts weed & feed works great in my yard

Killed Everything but the Weeds

I applied as directed with a Scotts spreader in the AM when the grass we covered in dew. It killed the lawn, not the all of the weeds. Mostly clovers are still alive. The picture here shows one week after application.
