I've used this product dozens of times with good results, but this time it burned the grass. Followed directions exactly. Don't worry what went wrong.

Dear Scott's and Home Depot: I find you application instructions incomplete. There is nothing about the frequency and duration of throwing the conveniently inclosed rocks at the weeds and grass is required to generate the desired effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worked for many different companies selling there own brand of weed and feed, however Scotts Turf builder W & F, will perform 1000% better than off brand.

I used this for the first time last spring. It cleared out the clover and the dandelions and thickened by grass. This year I am trying Step 1 in early spring to get rid of any crabgrass and them I will use the Turf Builder later in the spring.

Nothing wrong with this product at all! Works great! Not inexpensive so we just wait for coupons, got this 4K Sq ft bag for $25 instead of $35. Will use again in the fall as usual!
