The cake is good but you must really like icing to really enjoy this cake. It says it's six layers but that's because there are three layers of icing. It is very sweet.

I bought the Italian Cream Cake for Christmas meals. It was so pretty and delicious. Everyone was talking about how good and moist it was. I had two small pieces remaining when everyone left.

This cake was dry ! Definitely not Italian cream! I took this to a Christmas party ( all their food was delicious) I was ashamed to say I took it there. Everyone brought something!

The Italian Cream Cake is my most favorite cake and Sam’s has it seasonally and it’s delicious. I bought one for my birthday cake I. December. Not only is it delicious but it’s an amazing value!

This cake was bought as a dessert to a dinner party. Guest and I were pleasantly surprised of how rich and flavorful this cake was. I ate some 3 times and I’m not a person for the sweets.

My whole family loved this cake, except the one that doesn't like coconut. So delicious! The cake is moist and texture was a perfect amount of density. The walnuts in it were very good.

I have never had this cake... bought for friends with a son who is quite ill. The rave reviews were quite shocking. I figured it was a good cake but never imagined it was that fabulous. A pity they have it in stock anymore; I would love to buy one for myself.

While this flavor of cake is one of my favorites, this cake is so sweet we couldn't eat it. I don't know if Sam's cakes are normally this sweet or something happened to this batch, but a bowl of sugar isn't this sweet. I would recommend staying away from this cake.

This a beautiful cake. It's decorated beautifully and looks fancy enough for special occasions. At first bite, it's mind-blowing; the cake is moist, frosting is sweet and creamy. This cake would be a solid 5 stars, but I had to leave off a star because after a few bites, the cake becomes too sweet. If you eat an entire slice be prepared for the sugar rush and eventual sugar crash.

Cake was decent, toasted coconut was good, the icing was sugar mixed with syrup, mixed “I-don’t-know-what” that made it sickeningly sweet and almost unpalatable. Recommended by bakery employee in place of sold-out pumpkin pies. Would not recommend this “cake”!
