When I served this cake it was so dry that no one could eat it. So dense and so dry. However, a quarter of the cake sat on my counter for two days, and the longer it sat the moister it got! If I ever decided to try this cake again, i would let it sit at room temperature for at least two days before serving.

This was amazing, complex and layered. Not too sweet and just the right amount of cream and icing.
