WAY TOO SWEET! Sickening sweet. So much coconut and sugar icing was actually gritty. Horrible. Don’t know what I am going to do with all this cake. No one can eat it. Probably into the trash it will go. Actually gives you the sugar belly ache. Awful!

Although it still tasted pretty good if you like a buttery nut type cake with a sugary icing, it certainly does not pass for its title —Italian Cream Cake. Which is made with Ricotta and never coconut. If nuts aren’t used they are pistachio or almonds Supposedly the icing is cream cheese and perhaps 1/32 of it is but the rest is sugar. It does not taste like cream cheese
