I purchased this a few years ago, lasted about 2 years..all clad replaced it with a new one because it was still under warranty. The new one quit on me recently. All clad said this one is not under warranty. I loved this pan but won't buy another..it just doesn't last long enough to justify the price

This skillet is amazing and the perfect size! Most others are too small.

We have enjoyed the even heat, the precise, temperature control, and the easy cleanup.

The most even heat of any regular electric skillet or griddle. Cooks faster because it holds the heat setting.. No up and down heat up then cool down.. Just a great product.. I want another one..

Too expensive from Walmart

I have had mine for quite a while now and Love it!. Our son has moved back home and loves to cook. So one day suggested that he try my skillet for a meal he was tryjng to create. He loves it so much I'm afraid I may lose it when he moves back out.

When I first received this product, I was not sure if an electric skillet would cook as well as my gas stove. I am happy to say this product quickly proved to meet and exceed my expectations. This 7 quart skillet will now be more than just another tool in my arsenal, it will be one of the main tools in my arsenal. The first time I used it, it took me a few minutes to get used to the heating levels. I made pancakes for my children and I and it took between 5 and 7 minutes to cook them up. I'm used to making pancakes one at a time and in a smaller pan, but will now be able to make more than that, so in the future this will be a huge time saver. Next I cooked pork chops and they cooked up beautifully in about 10 minutes. The lid is strong and durable, but you will need a mitt to pick up the lid if it sits on the pan for an extended period of time, as it gets very hot. The cord is just the right length. The pan itself is big, and you will need to cook with plastic utensils so it does not scratch the pans surface. Clean up is simple, and a sponge and mild soap will wipe it clean after it cools down. This product should be worth the nearly $200 price tag because it could take the place of several cheaper, lower quality pans

I used my 7 quart skillet regularly and liked it, but was very disappointed when it stopped working after 2.5 years. I first suspected the thermostatic controller, but it checked out fine when I tested it. It appears instead that the element has burned out, which is unfortunate because the element doesn't look replaceable. Further, it when I removed the plate beneath the skillet to examine the element, I found that that the bonding had begun to fail where the element meets the aluminum skillet bottom. I can't tell if that is related to the element failure, but the crack is quite wide and extends about 25% of the inside diameter of the element. I'm going to check to see what All Clad has to say about about such an expensive product failing only 8 months outside of the 2-year warranty period. In the mean time, my only other complaint about this skillet was that the thermostat was not very sensitive at all. Even with a full skillet of liquid, you pretty much had to chose between rapid boil and and barely simmer. I didn't mind that too much because I loved the capacity and could manage the temperature well enough by adjusting frequently. But I am very disappointed that this skillet did not last considering the price I paid.
