It ran great for 2 weeks, then behan leaking lubricant from the motor. Contacted Lasko warranty dept and they were very helpful. A new one is on it's way. My only disappointment is that it is manufactured *sigh* in China...that is why I cannot give it 5 stars.

I was in Florida a couple months ago and discovered this fan at my aunt's house while visiting. I was so impressed because it felt more like a mini air conditioner rather than a fan. When I got home I ordered two for my house. My best purchase of the year! Even when our A/C unit went out, these kept me cool even through my worst hot flashes! I use one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Highly recommended!!! Love, love, love them!!

Loved this Lasko tower fan so much, that I bought one as a gift. Multiple speeds that feel cooler than box or bladed fans, oscillation option, remote, quality and pricepoint make this a great find. The slim and sleek design makes it easy to place if space is limited and looks good too.

I have wanted this fan for a long time. The first time I saw this fan was in a church. They were using 6 of them to move the air. I could feel the air no matter where I was sitting. It blows out real cool air and is so quiet that you can not even hear it running. It has three different speeds and even on the lowest speed you can feel the air from ten feet away. I really like the remote. You can have the fan blow directly on you or use the oscillating feature. Every one in the room can feel the air. This is one of the best fans I have ever purchased.

We’ve had Lasko fans in the past and had good luck with them. Therefore we stayed with the Lasko brand. This one is awesome as it has additional features our old one did not have (although we had it for years). This fan is silent and really puts out the air and is very well designed. We will forever be a Lasko fan. Please keep carrying them Sams!

I am so glad I bought 2 of these fans! They are quiet and very efficient! We have an open living area that is always cooler than the main floor. One fan is positioned to pull that cool air up. The other one is in the bedroom on the opposite end of the house. It pulls the cool air out of the bedroom into the hallway. Having these two fans keeps the air moving so we can keep the a/c on a much higher setting for better efficiency. Best purchase I've made in a long time!

I bought this fan and I am happy with the product, the only negative is a design flaw that creates what others mentioned about a loud noise. Since the drum is verticle, if not secured properly it will rattle. Well after about a week, it makes the loud noise people complain about. Also, though it doesn't bother me, there is only about a 30 degree oscillation.

The fan is very quiet, as advertised, most of the time - especially on the medium and low settings. Occasionally it will start making a subtle knocking noise, but it goes away after a while and isn't too noticeable. I've only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far I'm happy.

This has a small footprint in that it takes up very little floor space compared to many fans. It's quite powerful for it's size. The direction of the airflow can not be adjusted up or down like the other Lasko fan I purchased (more expensive) but for what I'm using it for, this is perfect. With three speeds of air flow, I can adjust for more or less breeze.

I would have given it 4.5 stars if possible. The only negative was I don't think the maximum fan speed was strong enough but it still has a decent output. As to be expected, the noise level was the highest at the maximum fan speed but even at that it was quieter than other fans we have been using. We didn't have to turn up the TV volume. It takes up much less room than box fans and we no longer have to look for tables or boxes to get our boxed fans up off the ground. I really like the night function and the timer function. The remote control is also a big plus.
