great product, I love how quiet it is, I feel like there should be one more speed setting level, you have to be less than 7 feet away to fukky enjoy the fan, the ION setting was the most important. I do feel the look of the fan is dated. I like the height of the fan.

Executive conference room in our office stays stuffy and gets uncomfortable when full of people during meetings. This tall fan moves the air very quietly around and makes suited up executives more comfortabe. Exactly what we purchased it to do. I would recommend to others, I would buy another if we have a need.

I bought this fan yesterday at Sams Club and as soon as I opened the package, a horrible smell filled the room. I read lots of reviews on multiple websites about the smells of Lasko products, and some suggested letting it run for 24 hours. The entire house reeks of this plastic, chemical odor and I'm feeling dizzy so I put the fan out on the porch, and now the entire outside porch area reeks. There are far too many complaints online about how the smell doesn't go away for me to keep this product. I am definitely going to return it.

The highest setting (4 ) is not that great, it feels like a medium and the lower setting (1), seems like it is just for noise . The huge green number stays on , would not recommend for a bedroom. First lasko we do not like. Spend the extra $20 to get the other lasko that they have, we have that one also and it is great.

The fan emitted a foul odor. I can't exactly describe it, but I ran the fan for 48 straight hours to see if the odor would go away, but it didn't. When I returned it, Sam's employee told me others have returned it for the same reason. Ended up buying the more expensive $99 blade-less fan. This one does not emit any odor at all. Ironically it is made by the same company, so go figure.

This is a really nice fan. The low speed is just right to cool you down after you have worked up a sweat, or you have a hot flash.And it is whisper quiet at this speed. Easy to walk off and leave it running. The two higher speeds are good for circulating a lot of air in any area. A good fan that does the job! I have one small caveat, not too important,but can be an irritant. The remote buttons are hard to press and a little small for fat fingers. But even with this, we are very happy with our purchase.

Ordered on-line and it arrived today. Plugged it in and it rattled like crazy. Unplugged it and took a closer look. The fan blades are a series of short stacks of blades, with all the stacks glued together. The top stack had broken off completely from the other stacks beneath it. Cracked right through the plastic; can't glue it back together. Not enough styrofoam inserts inside the box to brace the unit from bumps and drops on its way to our door. Cheap Chinese construction!

I bought this fan today (actually purchased 2 of them) and assembled it for my living room. I was disappointed to find out that the fan speeds aren't very strong (high feels like a medium) and the oscillation is less than 90 degrees ( however the box advertises wide spread oscillation). Not happy at all with its performance and price. Will be returning the product in the morning.

Bought one of these last year (2017), and we love it and decided that we wanted 5 more of them for different locations in the house. The first one we opened became hot at the base and smelled like burning rubber. We returned that one and exchanged it for another. Sadly, as we started unwrapping them and plugging them in, we noticed that they ALL had an atrocious smell, they didn't get burning hot at the base like the first one, but the awful odor filled the entire house and actually gave us headaches! They definitely WERE a great product, but we have since returned all five due to the fact that the smell is overwhelming, and does not fade away after running them. We have now ordered 5 fans made by another company, and we are finally cool and content!!

I love Lasko fans because they always last so long, so when I saw this one for $59, I didn't hesitate. It's a great size for a larger room, and a really good value. The only downside is the bright green display. Not sure why the fan level has to be displayed constantly, but it was so bright that it lit up our room. I'll have to find a way to cover it.
