I read reviews on this fan and decided to try it because it looked better and was quieter than the other model. I was highly disappointed. I ended up keeping the two fans I bought because I couldn't find the receipt for them. I just put them in the guest rooms. For noise makers and a light air movement they are fine, but if you need something to really move air, do not bother.

I bought two of these a month ago to replace two five-year-old Lasko Curve models. The new ones are taller and you can’t hear the fan however I personally don’t find the breeze as strong as the curve models. I have the new Dan on it’s highest setting (4) and it’s no match for the curve models on 3. Also the curve models had ionization which I liked and it was easy to find dust filters for them. The new ones each have a largest size thigh-high sheer nylon stocking secured with a Velcro band at the bottom.

I was so impressed with this fan that I purchased another Lasko fan similar to it with the same features. To my surprise and dismay, both fans simply stopped working on the same day. I tried using different outlets, checked the batteries in each remote but to no avail. Very disappointed. Thought of replacing them with Lasko but decided not to take the chance.

The Fans Sam's club currently has is not the ones being advertised. The model in-stock is the Lasko T48339 and not the T48313. The difference is the T48339 does not have the Fresh Air Ion Filter. The in-stock fan (T48339) is the basic tower fan with remote and speed adjustments. Also, it is noisier than advertised.

I brought two of these fans when my A.C. went out. They were so good I used then even after it was repaired. However, one night I woke up about 130 am and while trying to go back to sleep, there was some flickering. I thought the power to the house blinked put but the only thing that was not on was the fan. I tried to turn it back on and nothing. I shuttered as I realized it was the electrical system in the fan that sparked and flickered. All I could do was unplug it and thank God I was awake when it happened. Both fans are going back just in case. I just got them maybe in May and now it is July.

I’ve had several Lasko fans and they’ve all been stellar. This one is beyond awful! Either I got one that’s defective or Lasko doesn’t make them like they used to. It has 4 speeds which isn’t as strong as level 1 on my other ones. This bad boy is going back pronto!

great product, I love how quiet it is, I feel like there should be one more speed setting level, you have to be less than 7 feet away to fukky enjoy the fan, the ION setting was the most important. I do feel the look of the fan is dated. I like the height of the fan.

Executive conference room in our office stays stuffy and gets uncomfortable when full of people during meetings. This tall fan moves the air very quietly around and makes suited up executives more comfortabe. Exactly what we purchased it to do. I would recommend to others, I would buy another if we have a need.

Ordered on-line and it arrived today. Plugged it in and it rattled like crazy. Unplugged it and took a closer look. The fan blades are a series of short stacks of blades, with all the stacks glued together. The top stack had broken off completely from the other stacks beneath it. Cracked right through the plastic; can't glue it back together. Not enough styrofoam inserts inside the box to brace the unit from bumps and drops on its way to our door. Cheap Chinese construction!

When the fan arrived it work for about 12 hours and then the fan started shutting off by itself , started to turn on by itself. It came with a bad circuit board and it would take to long for us to receive another one from the manufacturer. Fan was right height for where it was needed. Would recommend anyway and hope the next person wouldn't have any problems.
