Clean floors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this shark upstairsto take care of the bulk of my upstairs vacuuming. It does not fall down the stairs, recognizing where the ledge is. It picks up really well and is easy to operate either by hand or usingthe phone.
Easy Set up, Great Features!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the things that really drew me in to the Shark Ion Robot Vacuum, is that it said it works great at picking up pet hair. I have a wooly coated Husky, who sheds a tremendous amount of daily, so I need all the help I can get. I'm happy to report that so far, this little robot vacuum is doing a pretty great job. The Shark Ion Robot Vacuum is heavy, and feels very well made. The instructions were extremely easy to understand, and made installing the docking station, the app, and setting up the vacuum a breeze. After finding the perfect place for the docking station, setup took maybe 10 minutes. The app was easy to find in the app store, and just as easy to use. With the app I can set up cleaning schedules, as well as start, stop or send my vacuum back to dock anytime, remotely. I can also use voice controls, if I'm not able to use my phone. The overall cleaning power of this vacuum is impressive. I honestly didn't expect much from it because they are so small, but it does a great job. It picks up more than my full size vacuum! It navigates easily through my house, and since it's equipped with cliff sensors, it won't fall down steps. It's super low profile ensures that it can easily fit under most furniture like my couch, book cases, the dog's bed and more. It gets around most obstacles easily, but if it does become trapped or stuck, it will let you know with beeping sounds. I have mostly hardwood flooring where I use my vacuum, but do have a large, somewhat plush, area rug. This vacuum easily goes from my wood floors to the carpet with no trouble at all. It picks up everything in its path, and the side brushes easily get in corners and bring dirt and debris to the front where the vacuum can pick them up. Caring for your vacuum is simple. A press of the dust bin button allows you to easily remove the bin and empty it out. You also need to clean the filter weekly and the brush roll occasionally. Both quick and easy to do, and will keep your vacuum working properly. The one negative thing about this vacuum (and this is just specific to my house), is I have to clean the brush roll about every other day. This most likely won't be an issue most people will have, but, because my husky has long, wooly hair, it builds up in the brush rolls really easily. It's not a huge deal, but it is a small annoyance. Other than that I think the Shark Ion Robot Vacuum is a great tool for any household to have. It really is a great help, especially when you have pets and/or kids. I highly recommend it!
Great vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Ion Vacuum is my first experience with an automatic vacuum. It was a little scary at first. There are lots of options. I kept it basic. The Shark Ion is lighter and quieter than I had expected. It is easy to set up and use. I have hardwood and tile. The Shark handled them easily. It even got the dog hair that drives me crazy. My son named him Rover because it grabs the dirt and comes back! We love it. My son is messy and Shark “Rover” helps keep it in check.
Great vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone loves a tool that can help you reduce the amount of time sweeping or vacuuming . Upon arriving the set up is pretty simple once out the box and set to the charger it needs to sit for 3 hours prior to being used. It requests about 3x5 feet of open space. I didn’t exactly have that available so it was a little difficult to find the best suitable area for the vacuum. There’s an app to download to connect to wifi - where you can name the robot and even control the cleaning directly from your phone . It’s still learning my house after an hour of running and seems to bump into a lot of walls- doesn’t go in straight lines but more of random circles or directions around the house. This leaves spaces untreated. - overall I’m happy and pleased with the vacuum. Have no had to empty yet hoping that process is just as easy
Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy this robot vacuumis to use. Setup was very simple. The app is great to use. The vacuum was able to explore my home and create a map. It was easily able to maneuver over different flooring types. The dust bin is pretty small on this vacuum, but it's fantastic otherwise.
Vacuums Well; Loud; Not Very Smart
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure what I expected when I got this Shark Robot vacuum but I'm a little disappointed. It keeps going straight for my dining table and getting caught beneath it among all the chairs. It's louder than expected, especially on my hardwood floors. Seems to work well in terms of collecting dust and pet hair, and can make the transition from hardwood to area rug without a hitch. It takes a while to find the dock so maybe I have to reposition it somewhere else - although I don't want the dock to be very visible in my kitchen either. The app is fine, nothing too fancy or complicated. Will keep trying to use it on my main floor but not sure this is a product I will be using long term unless it stops banging around every single piece of furniture I have.
Nearly perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this! I was truly impressed by how much it picked up after just one use. My only concern is how much and how often it gets stuck. Nearly every day, I receive an alert on the app that the cleaning couldn’t be finished for some reason, and I come home to having it stuck behind a rocking chair, under my bed, etc. I truly did do my best to clear all clutter. So, I find it annoying that it can make its way around a chair or doorway sometimes.
Time Saver!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with the Shark Ion Robot Vacuum. I've been using it for a few weeks and am amazed at how much it picks up. Is well made and works well. A real time Saver. It's light weigh, easy to set up and is very quiet while running.
My brst friend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark Ion Robot RV754 is my best friend now. It has really powerful suction and even can pick pet hair. It is so smart and senses my home edges and ect. I am able to control it from anywhere from my phone and it understands my voice command. Very happy with Shark.
I like it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my Shark Robot arrived, I started reading the manual and downloaded the app. Tried to get the device and app to pair but it was not going into discovery mode at first. Had to reboot it by shutting it off for a few seconds then turning it back on. Second try was the charm and the robot and app decided they were going to be friends. It went into it's dock and charged for the rest of the day. The app is easy to maneuver. Really walks you through the set up. I thought it was cool that they have you name it. I named my Jetson, after the old futuristic cartoon. I was so excited when it was all charged and I could test it out. Definitely impressed. It's not as loud as I expected but crashes into things pretty hard. Picked up well, dealt with pet hair and rug does look cleaner. However I still had to break out the old upright and use the hose to do clean up of areas it couldn't quit get into. Definitely works better in bigger rooms with less furniture than smaller rooms with furniture. Works well on kitchen and bathroom tile floors also but again, had to take a broom to areas it didn't quite reach. All in all, I think it's a very handy tool but improvements could be made. I think the the thickness and roundness cause a lot of the space limitations. It'd be interested to see how an updated design would fare.
