I've used the shark 5 times already, doing great on hard surfaces and acceptable on short-pile rugs. I have 3 hairy dogs and I'm happy with how the vacuum is handling the hair so far. I do not have wi-fi and it isn't a problem.

Love my Shark ION Robot Vacuum! Works well on carpet and wood flooring. Setup was easier than I expected it to be. Good price so good time to make the purchase.

Shark makes excellent products. But I thought this one unit had a remote which in fact was a picture of an IPhone. I bought this for my 91 yo mother in law. It was not a good fit for her since she is not computer savvy. Therefore I am returning. I had to find her one with a remote. I did call Shark customer service and I was told there wasn’t one I could get with this vacuum. If there had been I definitely would’ve kept it for her to use.

This is the best vacuum on the market! Moves around obstacles easy charges and resumes if needed. Works great sensors are so amazing moving around obstacles cleans very well. Vacuuming and mopping is done so easily keeps floors very clean especially with kids! Very durable and gets the job done!

Shark robot vacuum has a mapping service on their app that allows the vacuum to map your house out. You can set a time for the vacuum to clean your house when you’re not at home. The vacuum will empty itself when it docks to change. 3 settings are available to allow for eco, normal or powerful suctioning. The vacuum cleans my 1200 sqft. house with no problem. We have 4 dogs and this helps extremely on the amount of vacuuming that I have to do.

This item is priced very well and works as good as our previous Eufi robot vacuum. Only thing is the sensors seem a little off as the unit tends to bang into walls and furniture rather than avoid or gently touch them. Other than that it does a good job.

This shark ion does a good job on both carpets and hardwood. What it’s not good at is mapping your rooms. I can’t find any mapping at all on this shark. It just goes Willy nilly where ever !

There are errors in the directions connecting to Wi-Fi. This model does not have a learn mode, it just randomly bounces off everything. It also has a design issue that stops the unit each time it come on a shag rug and detects the table legs, it interprets it as a cliff event and shuts down.

I only ran it twice because each time I had to manually vacuum behind it and I was running it on bare floors. It didn't get into corners and it didn't pick up dog hair (I vacuum daily so it wasn't an unrealistic amount). Also, it was much louder than my other Shark.
