I selected Nature's Own Butterbread as a substitution for my regular most favorite butterbread, which is Sara Lee Butterbread. My in-store shopper was unable to provide the Sara Lee bread because it was unavailable. The Nature's Own bread is thicker and dryer in texture than the Sara Lee bread. It's a heavier bread, in my opinion. For me, it also tastes dryer. I'm eating it so as not to be wasteful. As I think about it, Nature's Own bread is more palatable when I toasted it.

The quality has changed. The flavor has changed not for the better. Texture was inconsistant. It had air pockets which made it difficult to spread condiments, butter, peanut butter and jam without tearing it. It use to be a sturdier bread. It seems the recipe has completely changed.

Usually buy the Great Value Honey Wheat bread. This bread was approved as a substitution bread during our last winter storm %26 all bread was sold out. This bread was the only one left on the shelves. If I could have given it 0 stars I would have rated it that. The bread is very expensive, is a heavy bread %26 has no taste. It has a lot of holes in it which makes it hard to spread any thing on it for a sandwich. It is ok for toast %26 as a bread to use with a meal but that’s about it. Would not buy again unless it was an extreme emergency.

Normally, I bake my own bread and highly prefer it to anything else. However, being always in a rush to get eating over with by making sandwiches, I need a good quality store-bought bread and this is it. It has a good flavor is not sponngy and serves very well for sandwiches.. My sister-in-law prefers it to my home-made bread and I guess that says a lot. I do not like most store-bought bread. This I like.

this bread was in my refrigerator for two straight months I didn't open it but it was just as soft at the end of the two months as it was when it first got here no mold it looked perfect so therefore it was fake bread thanks a lot it went right in the garbage I wish I would have took a picture and showed people exactly what happens after having bread for 2 months APPARENTLY ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IF IT'S FULL OF CHEMICALS

FIRST, IT'S NOT ABOUT THE BRAND. I HAVE ALWAYS PURCHASED NATURE'S OWN - HOWEVER, I HAVEFOUND THAT IT IS WITH ALL BRANDS. THE BREADS ARE JUST NOT GOOD ANYMORE. IT'S ALMOST LIKE THEY HAVE ALL OMITTED OR SCALED DOWN ON AN INGREDIENT. IT IS NEVER EVER FRESH ANYMORE NO MATTER THE BRAND

I knew this bread is horrible for you because this stuff doesn't even mold lol. Even last 2 months after expiration date
