Inconsistent quality

The last two loaves of the Nature’s own butternut bread has been very dry and coarse, not at all soft lime it usually is. I have noticed this with this bread from time to time- not consistently good. Will be shopping around for a better bread if they can’t improve on the quality at all times.

Loaf sizes have gotten smaller

The past few loaves of bread I have bought are considerably smaller. My kids like their bread without crust so I bought one of those gadgets that you press down on the bread to remove the crust. In the past, the cutter would fit inside a slice. Now the slices are way smaller than the cutter. I really like the bread but I will be switching brands to a brand with a bigger loaf size.

Great bread

I bought another bread a few times when I couldn't find nature's own and there's no comparison. Nature's Own is the best because I can eat 5 days in a row and it still is fresh when I bought other brand I have to eat same day only cause it don't stay fresh so all I eat now is Nature's Own

disgusting

this is the nastiest grossest un-butteriest crap ive ever placed in my mouth, i couldn't even swallow this horrifying abomination of a BREAD this is not bread this is something alien. I ate it while giving birth to my son Haverleigheigh 3.2 days ago and it was a worse pain than feeling his head sliding out of my utertopia. DO NOT BUY UNLESS U WANT TO FEEL THE PAIN OF GIVING BIRTH.

What’s up with the bread?

For about the last six months every loaf of bread w whether it be wheat or white bread has giant air holes in it. Some so large you can’t use it for anything. How can you make a sandwich with 3 inch holes? Can’t use it for toast, nothing to put butter or jelly on. I have always bought and loved your breads but not one loaf is completely usable. To put it in perspective out of the last 10 loafs of bread I have bought I have got one that was usable all the way through. Don’t know what’s going on but I do know air pockets happen, but every loaf? One more bad loaf and I’m not buying you bread again.

nice and soft, but...

My husband loves the softness and flavor of the Butterbread for his lunch hour sandwiches. He also appreciates that it doesn't "stiffen up" and feel dry when he pulls them from his well-chilled lunch cooler. The reason I gave this 3 stars only is because i can only ever make 3 maybe 4 sandwiches from a whole loaf. Why? Because there are holes/tunnels that run the length of the loaf. Fillings and condiments either fall out immediately, or cause a weak spot in the sandwich making it fall apart while tries to eat it. I find this extremely annoying to have to open another loaf just to finish pack his lunch. I don't eat it myself, so there is much waste. This is a relatively new issue. It wasn't a problem back in the 90's when I first started buying this. What has happened?

My favorite bread has changed for the worse!

This use to be the only bread I bought, but the last several loaves I have noticed that the quality and size has gone down AND the price has increased. I always check the date when buying my bread and the freshness of this particular bread has always been great for up to and beyond 10 days. Now, the loaves have bought over the last 6 weeks have dried out quickly and are a fraction of the once luscious size sandwich bread. I will not be buying this again, I'll go back to one of the more dependable brands for quality and size. I could have understood the raising of price during this inflation, but raising the price and cutting size and quality - shame on you!!!!

Weird taste and smell?

I bought this bread yesterday and it smells and taste almost like cleaning product? I had to throw it out as I don't feel entirely safe to eat it! The bread itself was also dryer then usual which didn't make too much sense to me. This bread is usually good! But recently it's just been really really bad.

Is anybody at the corporate level reading this????

I personally do not know what the problem is? Just look at EVERY single picture you publish of your very own product, do see how it's very light and golden looking? For many years now I can seldom if ever find that. I walk into a Walmart and I've got to go through 25 loaves just to walk out frustrated. Sometimes I have to go through several grocery stores just to find the bread I used to love. A light golden crust that's very soft. Now they are ALL coming out dark brown. The texture is tough and it's a totally different tasting bread! This is not something new it's been like this for years. How can somebody at corporate not take heed? How can they publish picture after picture of the perfect looking bread only for us to find out in reality it doesn't look anything like that at all! Does nobody care that these companies are not making the bread like they are supposed to??? This is downright false advertising!!! Customer service if you're reading this, save your coupons for free bread, I'm not interested in a few loaves of free product, I'm interested in somebody somewhere changing the way they are baking the bread so that it actually comes out looking like the picture, golden brown and very soft texture. Why nobody is taking this serious is beyond my imagination but I hope that you lose lots of customers because nobody is changing these things and nobody seems to care! Six months ago I wrote a review and got a coupon for free bread and then I responded with a picture of two loaves that I just had delivered from Walmart, both of them were dark brown and burnt looking. I didn't get a response... How hard is it to cook something the same way every time?

Smaller slices, and not as soft

I have eaten natures own butter bread for many years and have noticed that the slices have gotten smaller in the last few months and the bread is not as soft. Please go back to the bread that I’ve always loved. I hate to answer no to whether I would recommend it to a friend, but at this time I would not.
