I wrote a review weeks ago about my disappointment in the quality of the Nature's Own Butterbread. The bread had become dry and no longer soft. In the past the bread was so soft and fresh and would stay that way until the loaf was eaten. I stated that it seemed to maybe be overcooked. I had used it for years and was disappointed that I was having to look for a replacement and by the way I couldn't find one that compared to the former loaves. I have noticed that the last five or six loaves I have purchased have improved. The bread is softer and less dry. The color is no longer the dark brown it had gotten to be. I appreciate the improvement. Keep it up!

I’ve been buying this bread for years and I. The last few months. It’s like the bread has been frozen and thawed. It has lost it most delicious squish melt in your mouth bread. Very very disappointing. Just was hoping the first few times they were old loaves. Not the case. Please go back to the old way.

This use to be the only bread I bought, but the last several loaves I have noticed that the quality and size has gone down AND the price has increased. I always check the date when buying my bread and the freshness of this particular bread has always been great for up to and beyond 10 days. Now, the loaves have bought over the last 6 weeks have dried out quickly and are a fraction of the once luscious size sandwich bread. I will not be buying this again, I'll go back to one of the more dependable brands for quality and size. I could have understood the raising of price during this inflation, but raising the price and cutting size and quality - shame on you!!!!

I bought a loaf of Nature's Own Butterbread instead of my artisan-style pricey loaf and, boy was I surprised! The slices were moist, flavorful, and had the mouthfeel, not unlike the more expensive artsy breads. It's my family's new favorite, whether eating it as breakfast toast or on a lunchtime sandwich creation.

I used to buy this bread all the time. It was great. Best tasting bread around. But a couple years back or so they have had to change something or someway that the bread is produced. It feel soft to the touch in the grocery store when you gently squeeze the Loaf but when you get it home and pull some of the bread out it has a stale crust like feeling / texture to the bread even though it is soft to the squeeze touch. Please return to a previous procedure so that the bread does not have this dry crust like texture.

Shocked at the obvious changes made in recipe from original taste and texture. I cannot eat another bite. So seriously sad and disappointed. A loaf of garbage; as if I were eating styrofoam compared to the heavenly bread it used to be. No one will continue buying this if it isn't reversed to the former recipe. All the once great foods are disappearing over time, including Butterbread. You were once the best!

The last two loaves of the Nature’s own butternut bread has been very dry and coarse, not at all soft lime it usually is. I have noticed this with this bread from time to time- not consistently good. Will be shopping around for a better bread if they can’t improve on the quality at all times.

What happened to our Butter bread ? All of a sudden it is dry ,coarse and dark crust . Smells funny when I open the bag. I love the butter bread and last two weeks when I bought it has been toast dry . Very costly to not be good . It will usually stay fresh for three weeks .

Nature’s Own Butterbread used to be the perfect white bread. It was the softest bread you could get, the quality was awesome. In literally recommended it to people. WHAT HAPPENED?! Now, every loaf we buy is dry and hard and we are tired of wasting our money on making sandwiches we hate now because the bread always tastes stale. We have been loyal to the brand but we are fed up. FIX IT or everyone is going to give up on Nature’s Own. Same goes for the honey wheat!
