There was nothing wrong with, just felt time for an upgrade. This new shark vacuums really well. The power is really good for a compact lightweight vacuum, and I'm happy with how easy and light it moves around my apartment. It easily gets into corners and I have no trouble quickly vacuuming when needed. Switches easily between hardwood and carpet, and settings to adjust make it easy to use. I'm happy with this vacuum and would recommend to anyone looking.

We use to have a cheap vacuum that I had to run over the carpets 2 or 3 times to get everything out and clean. This one, NOPE! ONCE over and its gone like POOF! Highly reccomend this vaccum if you need something durable and ready to get the job done asap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new shark!It has a little canister to carry for non floor jobs,long reaching wand,settings for hardwood and carpet and does amazing even with my dogs shedding.easy to remove and empty canister and plenty of room in it for less often emptying.it does amazing on any job I've had and gets any job done.I can't tell you how long I've looked for the perfect vacuum and I'm blessed to have found it.

I've been cleaning almost every day since I've got this vacuum because I'm amazed at how powerful this machine is! It dusts, picks up hair, and traps the dust particles that plays havoc with my husband's allergies, and I love how I don't have to clean the Brushroll for hair removal. cleaning just got so much better in my house, easy to do stairs now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older *cheap* vacuum before getting the Shark. I just had a sense that my floors were never fully clean. Now that I've been using the Shark for a week or so I've noticed a huge difference. The amount of dirt and hair in the canister after just one room was amazing. And I had just vacuumed with my old vacuum a few days prior to trying it out. I love that it has a button setting for different floor types as we have tile and carpet in our home. The one thing that has been a small adjustment is the swivel head, but it's still fairly easy to control. I love the self clean duo brush heads because I tend to vacuum up a LOT of hair and the fact that I don't have to cut away the tangled hair after cleaning is huge. The headlights are nice to help spot dirt and crumbs I wouldn't see otherwise. I also really like the detachable unit to vacuum stairs and furniture. I can't believe I waited so long to replace that cheapo vacuum. Now I can have peace of mind knowing my little one is playing on clean floors!

I cannot believe all the places I was able to clean that I couldn't clean before with my other sweeper. I like that this vacuum is much easier to push than my other sweeper. The Shark was very easy to clean. I was always messy after cleaning my other vacuum. I look forward to many years of using this vacuum. Thank you!!

It picked it up with ease. It handles so well. Easy to use and easy to dispose of the contents when your finish vacuuming. I really love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is everything I imagined it would be. First thing I love is that it cleans all types of flooring. Literally every floor in my home, this can be used on. I have vinyl plank floors, ceramic tile, regular carpeting, low pile area rugs and shaggy area rugs. It works on them all. It doesn't suck up the edges of the rug because you can very easily control the suction by a switch near the top of the handle. No bending over to the ground. It works on my shaggy rugs as well and glides easily over the high pile carpet. I've always had issues with vacuums being extremely hard to push on my shag area rugs but not this one! Second reason I love it is because NO HAIR gets wrapped round the beater bar. None. Zilch. Zero. It's amazing. My daughter and I have long hair and this was always an issue. Not anymore! Third reason is the lift-away feature to clean stairs is awesome and makes it so easy. Fourth reason, it's easy to clean and empty out the dust collection cup. It is a little heavy but there really isn't a reason you need to be carrying this vacuum all over unless you have to use it on multiple floors. It glides easily from room to room and I use the lift-away feature to do my stairs so I don't have to carry the entire vacuum. It's not enough of a big deal to me to take away a star. Everything else about it is amazing and you can tell the process to design these vacuums was great. Definitely recommend this 100%!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best vacuum I've ever used, I vacuum my house every day so have used my fair share of vacuums, this is the best one I've ever used. I don't think I've seen my carpet look this clean after vacuuming, ever! It's works great and is easy to use! It's a LITTLE heavy but nothing hard to carry, but with the detachable wand, it makes it much easier to use as well! The extra accessories all work great as wall, and the under appliance one is awesome! My 6 year old son even liked doing it! I also love how you can detach a part in the front in case you accidentally get something stuck in the front. (Which my son managed to do the first second of him trying) it was so easy to take apart and get right back to vacuuming. I don't think I've ever used a vacuum as awesome as this one.
