At the beginning of the pandemic, I bought one of these for telework. About a month later, I bought a second. These are excellent monitors and I haven't experienced any issues with either. I'm getting ready to buy another for my wife!

Everything in Windows 10 indicates that the sound is getting to the LG monitor - but no sound (using HDMI 1 and HDMI 2) and swapping HDMI cable for a new one.

It is a good idea poorly executed

I started out with the Samsung smart monitor and it took over an hour to set up only to discover that the remote would interfere with my 50 Samsung TV.

I bought this LG monitor and simply plugged it in, and connected iMac. It worked immediately. Yay! No issues. In fact, it's almost too big.
