Con:1) Bluetooth would not connect. I tried different devices. This means I can't change any sound settings because you need to change them on an app. Bluetooth would not connect to my phone or TV. 2) No remote - I would have to unlock my phone every time I wanted to change the volume. I have one TV with hdmi/arc, but the other TV doesn'thave hdmi/arc. Pro: 1) I was looking for sound improvement compared to standard TV speakers. I was happy with the quality. 2) Simple wiring of speakers It took 5 mins. The rear speakers are powered and connected to the wireless subwoofer. It is easy to place the subwoofer behind you. Then, connect the rear speakers behind you without running wires around side walls or the ceiling.

I received this Vizio 5.1 soundbar this morning as a Christmas gift, and it was extremely disappointing. I followed the instructions exactly, set everything up properly, and it initially worked — for about four minutes. Then it suddenly turned off and would not turn back on. I tried every troubleshooting step I could find online and in the manual. I unplugged it, reset it, checked all connections — nothing worked. The soundbar is completely dead after barely being used. This left a really bad taste in my mouth, especially since I’ve been waiting a long time to get a soundbar and was excited to finally have one. Instead of enjoying it, I spent my time trying to fix something that should have worked out of the box. I’m returning it tomorrow and don’t even want an exchange. I’ll be getting a refund and purchasing a Sony soundbar instead. After this experience, I won’t be buying Vizio products again.

Only has eARC as an output. Purchased to go with a new 65” Visio tv. Returned it because of very poor picture quality.

Bass is to loud. Had to turn it off. Can not get the equalizer to come up on the app to adjust the sound.

Did not work good with Samsung TV. Changed all the settings would still disconnect randomly with HDMI arc plugged in subwoofer would lose connection after 15 minutes.

Did not help with the sound. Could not understand people talking. Turned volume up to 98 & still could not hear talking clesrly.

Sound is good. However, I am now restarting the system wherever trying to connect through Bluetooth. It didn’t do it in the beginning so I may try deleting and reconnecting.
